Everybody in this office is AMAZING! Dr. Katie is not only an amazing Chiropractor but she is super down to earth and fun to talk to. I have also used both Mara and Mechelle for massage therapy. Mara is very good at helping you feel relaxed, and Mechelle is very targeted and especially good at working tight areas. I would recommend this place to anyone for overall holistic health, wellness, and Pilates!! Love it here.
During the past 20 years, I have had several Pilates teachers at different locations in the Denver Tech Center. Lauren Cannady is the Pilates instructor at 5280 Balanced Health Center, and her abilities surpass all the others I have worked with. While being extremely professional, she is also warm and caring. Lauren tailors her private workouts to the needs of each client. I am in the over 50 category and she has helped me with balance issues and strengthening my core. I have lost inches everywhere, have gone down a clothing size. Lauren monitors how I perform each exercise on the reformer, making adjustments, so I maximize movements without getting injured. Each session she builds on what we did in the prior session so there is constant progress. I leave each session feeling both happy and more fit.
I have been working with Lauren (Pilates trainer at 5280) for several months. She is professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. I recommend her without reservation. The office staff at 5280 also adds to a pleasant visit.
My very first experience at 5280 was a phone call with Shannon to set up an appointment with Dr. Katie. You could hear from Shannon's voice that she goes above and beyond to give awesome customer service.
Dr. Katie has such a unique twist on chiropractic service. She loves to empower and educate her patients. We leave our appointments understanding our body better and knowing how to help care for ourselves, with the help of her chiropractic expertise.
I have also had the opportunity to get massages with Mara. Mara's massage is a great mix of release work and relaxation. I come in to my massage appointment with a few aches and areas of focus. Mara uses her magic to work out the tension and I always leave feeling better. I love the whole team of 5280. Dianne and Shannon go above and beyond to help patients receive the best care from all of 5280's practitioners.
I've had several massages from Mara. She is amazing! Small and mighty! She listens to what is aching and how intense of a massage you like then goes to work. I always feel better when I leave and she has become a regular part of my monthly things to do!
I have been a patient of Dr. Katie's for nearly 2 years now and, though I started treatment for injuries sustained in a car accident, I can safely say the entire practice is now part of my wellness routine. My body hasn't felt this good in years! Dr. Katie provides regular adjustments and, in doing so, always takes into account how I'm feeling mentally and emotionally. She really does love what she does and it comes through every time I see her. I also see the on-site massage therapists, Brittany & Mara, regularly as they are the best I've ever worked with. In addition, Lauren, the practice's on-site Pilates instructor takes the same care that every member of this team does to ensure I feel amazing, flexible and strong when I'm finished. The energy of this place is one that is welcoming and each and every team member (Dianne and Shannon, too!) makes you feel like part of the family. I cannot recommend them enough!
I've been seeing Dr. Katie for over 2 years and her care has been outstanding. Compared to my previous chiropractic experiences, Dr. Katie goes the extra mile to serve her patients on all levels with an individualized approach. Dr. Katie does a thorough assessment at each visit and really listens to my needs. She's extremely approachable and always has a smile on her face. It's obvious she loves what she does. I highly recommend her and her practice!
Katie is an amazing Chiropractic provider. That is where this good review ends. For over 8 months I have had to fight with Dr. Decker's practice because of their incorrect billing, they basically overcharged me about $20 every visit. Although they have a contract with Anthem, (my insurance) Diane (office manager and mother) refused to honor it and became verbally aggressive with me and my insurance representative and even told my insurance company they did not understand medical billing and coding. I did eventually recieve my refund from them, but will not go back since Diane refuses to bill me correctly or read the contract 5280 Balanced Health has with Anthem Blue Cross. I encourage all of you to go through your bills and make sure they are correct because it's easier to keep your money than try and get it back.
I've been a client of this establishment for years and always call ahead if I need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. They decided it is ok to charge 60$ if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance. This isn't the customer service I've come to expect from here and is very disappointing. I will be taking my business
elsewhere and will advise those I know to go elsewhere. People have schedules too and a life that sometimes prevents you from doing what you planned weeks in advance. Some human empathy and flexibility would be appreciated.
Dr. Katie Decker is wonderful. She is very caring, knowledgeable and listens, she really takes the time to get to know you. The staff is also great- friendly and welcoming at every visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Decker and 5280 Balanced Health Center!

Dr. Decker was clear in describing the issues with my shoulder and hip alignment and made effective changes. I look forward to my continued visits.
