The facilities are somewhat up to par. Very small quaint gym. The behavior of the managers and staff are of the low end type. While most businesses are polite and seek for their paying clients to return, they are otherwise not. Very cross type attitudes are not very welcoming to the gym environment full of workout-aggression and focus. There were toxic like tones and nonchalant business approach.
Being that it is in an affluent area, the environment isn't very open or willing to allow comfort to those whom genetics aren't socially approved of. Very brash and cringe worthy customer service.
I made a mistake with adding on an additional feature to my membership that I found wasn't possible to add on, the manager Chris abruptly dismissed my concern to reverse it, so I went to my bank and asked them to reverse it. When I let him know of the mistake and asked him for a solution, Chris became very narrow and disrespectful. As I'm trying to keep him calm and find a solution he began over talking and nearly yelling. At this point I am literally trying to squeeze the needed information, all at the same time trying to keep this on-edge and noticeably irate person calm just enough to pay the fee. It didn't help that it picked up my autocorrected name, which is other than my real name. With no concern of how he is coming off and ruining the chances of me or anyone that I know ever coming to this beautiful gym; he proceeds to demonized and back me into a corner, for not caring that it was him that I asked the questions to and mentioning his carelessness. I knew it was him I just ignored anything personal.
The fee was $45, I called the other UFC gym explained this whole thing to that manager, he understood the mistake and took $35 off the fee. Because of the discomfort and eye-rolling dramas of the environment and their "new money-like" attitudes, I wouldn't recommend this place to a sophisticated/mature group or person. With their low-end type attitudes, they don't know the difference, and attitude is everything. I at least know class and this environment does not cater to that kind of clientele or lifestyle. Let's just say: stereotypes of a person aren't always appropriate, especially if that persons business is beneficial to you. Maybe setting biases aside can be safer.
The workout classes are mundane, so be ready to be left dissatisfied.
Also, Chris has a wife and other female staff that are like the typical millennials; ghetto attitudes, careless about how they make the business look, UNPROFESSIONAL, aggressive towards women they find intimidating or threatening to their clique (not the place for a teenage girl).
I'm nice to women because they're women, them not so much. Women need a safe place, I wouldn't recommend this as the place.
Initially, I checked the place out for my dance class and my partner, but I scraped the plan and didn't mention it. All 30 of us could use kickboxing classes, but I'm not happy with the ethic so I'm happy I checked it out before I put the people I like to entertain and maintain the luxury experience with in that situation for themselves to so brazenly find out.
