A shout out to my favorite person..We spend our lives on yo-yo diets, over eating, then dieting, then over eating then crash dieting, getting ready to "look good" in that swimming suit, for summer, for those shorts or those jeans, for this and that rather than it being a way of every day life of mindful eating without being or feeling deprived. I went away to Chicago and had such a great time - ate Pizza's (the yummy deep dish kind with lots of cheese) and other delicious food and lots of cocktails, however, when I returned I weighed myself and measured myself and I hadn't put on a single pound or inch. I attribute this to working out with Erica Sigel at Inspired Athletic Movement and all the excellent classes and personal support I get there.It's such an amazing community of people who support you every day. It wouldn't have been a big deal had I put on weight, but the fact is that I didn't - the first time in years. My metabolism is kicking butt! Erica is there to kick my butt, hold me accountable for my life and choices....yes have your PIzza, your chips and salsa, your wine but know that you have that choice and that you can get back to your clean eating without feeling guilty. - that is the coaching I get from her. Well it works! I'm the fittest I have ever been thanks to her.
