After buying a groupon and calling to schedule an appointment, I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a woman whose name I believe was Stephanie... She had a very thick foreign accent so it was hard to clarify before she abruptly hung up on me. This became a problem because she said that I couldn't redeem my groupon because I had already been there and it was for new clients only. Being slightly irritated by this, my response was simply 'oh thats lame' in a disappointed tone (not angry at all). To this she responded extremely unprofessionally with a rant about how they lose money with groupon etc etc. I interrupted her rant to say that if you're losing money doing this, that's your call as a business and not the customers fault so there's no reason to sit here and blame me for your financial loss just because I purchased a groupon. 'It's just for exposure, we lose money' she kept saying, well I doubt this is the exposure you were looking for but toughen up a lil bit and learn how to professionally handle a disappointed patron who was not rude in any way and was just genuinely surprised and disappointed. Terrible service, I will make sure to tell all of my local athletes and climbers to never waste your time with a money grubbing place who blames their customers for their poor business model!
