I've been a member at Easton since 2012, when I moved to Boulder for graduate school. After my first class, I hesitated at first because I wasn't sure if I could afford it. They told me to take my time and think about it, and after taking a good look at my budget, I decided I was willing to make the sacrifices necessary to make it work. Since then, the gym has paid for itself several times over. Not only do I stay physically fit, but the instructors and teammates here have been instrumental to my mental health and growth as a person: teaching me how to overcome challenges, remembering that everything is temporary, and seeing failure as the mother of invention. Now I'm working on my PhD dissertation and I don't think I could have come this far without the Easton family--both the physical outlet, the community, and the encouragement from the instructors. I can't recommend it highly enough. Oh, and also it's a world-class martial arts academy with an impressive competition record and several world champion black belts. NBD. :)
