After working out at Bella Strength for ~1 month, here's what I like about the gym:
1. The facility is always clean & organized, and the equipment strikes a nice balance of conventional options (Olympic rigs, rowing machines, etc) and less-conventional options (kettlebells, sandbags, turf + sleds, maces, etc).
2. The ownership puts a ton of effort into member experience. You will be greeted (by name) every time you walk into the gym, and the vibe is always positive. In my experience, creating this type of communal feel is insanely valuable because it provides unlimited motivation to keep showing up and challenging yourself on a daily basis.
3. The coaching staff is highly educated and place a true emphasis on functional fitness. They are excellent teachers, very personable, and operate without ego. I had a series of personal training sessions with Daniel, and he did a fantastic job of identifying plenty of areas for improvement. Each session was a perfect balance of breaking down movement patterns and then putting them into practice.
4. They don't pawn off cheap pizza and bagels on their members as an incentive to show up and exercise.
If you are looking for a gym in the Boulder area that will deliver tangible results, I'd highly recommend giving Bella Strength a try.
