Some equipment seems to be down more often than not. Otherwise a good, small inexpensive gym
They started charging my credit card even though I never signed up. They claim ignorance because they got the information from the old Aspire. They waited a long time to start charging my account and I think they did this on purpose to avoid detection. Additionally, if they got my credit card info from another gym, they know they did not get it from me but just kept charging it anyway. This is theft. If you are being charged by this gym it will show up as ASF*Aurora Fitness. I called and went in and was informed that I needed to email management because they are never there. Management did not respond until I complained to the BBB. If you are going through this, you can complain on the BBB website. It is VERY easy. You fill out a form and then the BBB sends you an email every time there is an update and you click on the link to see the update or respond. Once I complained, they promised to refund me. I need to wait five business days. But that is an avenue for anyone to pursue if this is happening to you!
Cancel your membership now if you can. I was a member since it first opened as Inspire Fitness. Then I noticed they changed owners and I decided to cancel my membership. And also they were still charging my account. So I would suggest to cancel in person because that is the only way you can get out. Also it's not worth getting a membership here.
They use to have wifi. Which was nice because they don't have a sauna, steam room or pool. Or that many equipment. I'd say they should get rid of the majority of their cardio equipment that no one uses and make room for more free weights. Anyways, they don't have wife anymore. They also took away their cardio theater room. They keep taking away what use to give them better ratings.
The gym has also become smaller. And they never made it a 24/7 gym again. That could of been a big plus. At this point, it feels like they might close it soon. Again. But who knows. Their members are kept in the dark.
All that being said. It's still 10 dollars a month. And it's not as busy as it use to be. So equipment is available to use.
Aurora fitness is under new ownership and they are doing a great job. When I moved to Colorado, it was impossible to find a good gym, that had everything I needed to train, and also be under $30 a month. Aurora fitness is only $10 a month! I've been a part of the gym for 3 months and I'm very satisfied with this place.

Takes your money when they will get shut down. Does not notify members or employees about closing till the cops show up to evict members and employees. Will take for ever to refund you or never will and still has not paid employees.

I had just joined this gym in June 2018, and paid monthly for the $10.00 membership. Recently, i was charged the annual fee of $39.99 September 10th and found out today (9/26/18) they are permanently closed! Wouldn't be surprised if they close the last two locations in Colorado without notice-- do not waste your money here!!!

Then, when I canceled my membership they have continued billing me and I have yet to receive a response from anyone to assist me. About to dispute with my CC company. I am giving 3 stars for now because I have not had a major problem with this gym. YET. However after reading many of these reviews I am wondering what kind of experience I will have when I cancel my monthly membership when the time comes. It's a shame because MOST of the bad reviews are about people trying to cancel & still being charged &/or being sent to a collection agency when they said they cancelled & got the runaround. Lots of people read these reviews before joining & this is the kind of thing to make them not want to join (I joined a long time ago before most of the bad reviews were written). If this company were to establish a responsible cancellation process they would likely have much better reviews & a lot more members. Doesn't DORA regulate this kind of thing? Such a pity!! In addition, there are times I come here and there are no paper towels in the bathrooms, no sanitizing spray for the machines, and some of the machines have a thick layer of dust on them.

The old managers and trainers that have recently resigned because of the poor actions by their corporate as to how they were treated, actually used to motivate, give free classes, and help customers when needed. I don't know how many people work there and just sit at the front desk all day not doing anything (5 people usually). I am curious how they build any kind of revenue with people getting paid just sitting on the clock. But hey if you want to go to a gym, where there is hardly any people there now because of management changes, then this is it for sure. Not crowded at all. and if you paid for a membership that included the 24 hour facility.......that has now been changed also with NO REFUND and is not 24 hour probably because they can't afford it with all the people they pay that just sit around.

I wish I could give this a less rating but 1 star is enough.I wouldn't suggest anyone to come here at all.There have been 5 star reviews but I don't trust their opinions.I was with this gym a few months ago because the cost of it was only $10.00 a month.The employees have told me that there was no contract, I can be able to cancel anytime, and so on. They just told me to sign something but they never allowed to see what I was signing for. This was my mistake.I first began to go to the gym for a few weeks and had a good service. That was until I began to get charged.They began to take away $48.00.I called an employee and asked why they were charging me more when there was nothing they told me about fees (Even in their own website, they didn't have anything talking about fees).They just said it was because of their equipment we used ever 4 months and I decided to want to cancel it. I decided to call them and tell them I wanted to cancel it but I didn't get much of a response. I have even stopped going to the gym but they don't care at all.They continued to charge me and I decided to change my credit card so they would not have access to getting my money.I still get letters of my charges and they continue to try to get my credit card information even when I'm not going any ore at all. I'm just not going to trust any gyms no more and stick with exercising at home.
Don't trust this gym and don't trust the 5 star reviews. This place is terrible for their charges.
Back to 24 hrs!!!!! Keep it that way. I work nights and get off around 4 am. Makes it easy when i am off work to go tonthe gym!!

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Management is all about lining their pockets and couldn't care less about the customer (unless you paid them, of course). The trainers are always late and lack any sort enthusiasm or customer orientation. Equipment is always down, which is ironic because they charge an annual maintenance fee for the purpose of keeping the equipment "functional" and "up to date". The associates and managers are nothing more than pushy salesmen that want YOUR money in THEIR pockets, and will try to up-sell you to their platinum membership every chance they get, even after you've made it perfectly clear that you don't need it. And even after you've become a member, you can't even go through workout in peace because they hover around you in the middle of your workout hassling you to refer your friends. This gym has no sense of respect or integrity for its members. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a membership somewhere else, at least at a different location, where the staff isn't obnoxious. Trust me, I know, I used to work there.

Run the opposite direction! This company doesn't care about its clients what so ever. I wish I would have done more research before I signed the contract. I was never told that I was going to be put in a contract. I was lied straight to my face. Another thing, good luck being left alone while you are working out. Not to mentioned that this area is very unsafe. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE!!!
The gym itself is nice; plenty of machines for any time except the prime times. A females only section, a kid's room and even a yoga/video fitness (think P90X) room. Staff is friendly and as helpful as they can be. However, I'm giving this place a single star because of the contract nightmare. I put a freeze on my account due to military orders and now 5 months, 4 pieces of paperwork, 6 phone calls, and 8 emails, later they are still trying to charge me. The people who you get calls from can't help, the number they give you can't touch the payment system, the personnel at the actual gym can only send an email, and the entire time your account is getting charged.
I canceled my membership to this gym in January of this year. I was told that one more payment would be taken for February and then my membership would be cancelled. It is now December and I have been charged every month this year. I have spoken to several staff regarding this on multiple occasions. They have all told me the same thing, they will reprocess my cancellation and issue a refund. It has never happened. I would be careful giving this business your account information as they clearly have shady practices. I have even had one payment sent to a collection agency when I did not pay it and they are continually calling for a payment that I do not owe.
I got a new debit card and forgot to change it with them, no phone call they sent me to collections. I brought my membership current and cancelled it, because I moved (my year agreement was up anyways). I was assured it was cancelled and I would not be charged for May, because I cancelled before the draft. Here it is almost August and they are still billing me/sending me to collections. I have called the gym sent proof to their "manager" twice, not to mention how rude and nasty Twin Oaks is about getting their $10 per month!
Great gym and great people , super helpful and my trainer is beyond amazing. Both professional and casual its a pleasure to attend aspire !
Gym was a good place to exercise at due to the low volume of customers. I never had a problem finding a machine. Unfortunately, my debit card was compromised and instead of contacting me to continue my membership I was turned over to collections when my auto payment didn't go through for 10 dollars. Highly disappointed that there was no previous notification of that happening. Its not a fun experience to deal with in the first place and this is just insult to injury at this point. When I called to talk to them I never got any answer. Just a sprint voicemail box with no business name or anything. They fail to meet what I would consider minimum customer service standards. Its cheap and you get what you pay for.
I thought it was a good place but yesterday I did not like it at all. Need new people in front was yesterday and they did not treat me well for everything they wanted to charge and barely ran out when I told them I just wanted to see the prices to see if I could go there
Facility is great the regular staff is great, what is not acceptable is the lazy trainer staff more importantly the manager. For one I told him because of my schedule could not train in the evenings and could only go morning times so agrees to do the initial training at 5am. I show up a bit early waiting on him and he sends one of his staff because he's too lazy to get up. Why would I pay someone to train me if you don't even have the manners to show up yourself? Second I go in there after the first training day and thinking Id have my workout ready to go to start training hard. Nope. 2 days didn't have anything, go in the next day I actually have a workout and completed it. Weekend comes go in the morning he tells me " oh just do the same workout again". Why did I waste $50 on your lazy ass. Same thing happened this week. It's Tuesday and still don't have any training from him. Don't waste your money on these trainers that don't want to put the minimum effort or time into helping and just want to bully you into paying.
