Before joining Crossfit Redondo, I tried many different fitness programs including traditional gym memberships, yoga, pilates, and boot camp classes. In every instance, I didn't stick with it. Crossfit is challenging, but also very encouraging. Every movement can be scaled and modified so that whether you're old or young, in great shape or completely out of shape, you can participate and get the most out of the workout.
The coaches are phenomenal. They encourage you and make you feel like a welcome part of the community. Pretty soon, everyone will know your name and you'll really feel like part of a great fitness family.
The end result for me is that I've been Crossfitting regularly for nearly two years and over 300 workouts. I'm in the best shape of my life. I can do things I never thought possible (like pullups and handstand pushups!)
Every time I travel for work, I try to go to different Crossfit gyms. I've visited quite a few and it's made me appreciate Crossfit Redondo even more. The coaching here is top notch, with a strong emphasis on proper technique. The workouts are thoughtfully planned and constantly varied. It's one of the best Crossfit gyms nationwide.
