I am extremely disappointed in Lululemon. It is a brand that I have been loyal to and supported for many years, first as a yoga student and then as a yoga and Pilates instructor. They supported me by giving a discount through their Sweat Collective program on the merchandise I purchased from them. I had always made my purchases in store, but during this pandemic I obviously could not. The gym I teach at, like many others moved their classes online, while also decreasing the number of classes offered. So, I applied to Lululemon for their online discount. Not only was I turned down for their online discount program, but they took the extraordinary step of then terminating my instore discount! After receiving that email from them, I reached out again via phone. The Customer Service rep was less than helpful, and this after an hour wait on hold! Today, I got an email that they had reviewed my application again with the information they were asking for (an instructor profile and a screen shot of our class schedule with my name on it), and were still denying my online application while discontinuing my in store discount as well. I am livid, as during these trying times, they have chosen not support instructors who are already taking a financial hit! I should not have to apologize for the fact that my gym is only offering a limited number of classes. I will never purchase or wear lululemon apparel again.
