Had a great work out at Box n Burn this morning. I was curious how their set up would be. Having prior boxing experience I wanted to see how their system worked compared to what I had learned in the past. So this is my honest opinion. The Box n Burn class is awesome and you will definitely burn ALOT of calories. Trainers are solid and great energy and positive attitudes. For 1st timers they give you a good breakdown of the combinations and explanation of what you will be doing. I loved the 6 station rotation because it gives you an all around burn, working your whole body and you don't get burned out or bored. I think a person with no previous boxing experience can jump into the Box n Burn class and get an awesome workout. They might get a little frustrated at times, but if they continue to do the class they'll be feeling like Ali or Sugar Ray in no time. So I highly recommend this gym. The only little minor issue I personally had, but it's not huge, is that the music was loud so I had a little difficulty hearing the combinations being called out when working the pads, but that's so minor, also because of my prior experience I had to rework my brain and movement to how Box n Burn trainers train., so I was in my head a lot. The music is essential though to keep the high pace energy up. I would suggest for beginners or novices to take the free class and then do a few personal pvt. 1 on 1 sessions with a trainer and get a good base with Box n Burns method of training and then jump back into the group classes. That's my plan. Thanks Box n Burn for the awesome work out and I'll seen in class!
