Being only 1 block away, I was stoked to get spinning at Revolution! Yet, the studio came up super short. I took two classes -- one from an energetic 50-something, but with no above bike spin moves; a second from a Gen Y who danced in front of us most of the class (I was told she had an injury and couldn't ride but a few minutes of the 45 minute class -- that's really bad). The moves were very basic and not worthy of Soul, Cyclebar, Peloton and/or Flywheel (ie, no tap back, right/left, etc). The bikes are a mish-mash of old and new (some don't even have electronics) and you have to bring your own towel and shoes. I decided to use wire frames with my tennis shoes -- big mistake -- it was so uncomfortable and I almost broke my ankle (foot fell out several times out of the straps). They seem to cater to an older audience who know how to ride, but not spin. Having taken spin at dozens of studios all over the world, I would put this near the bottom quartile of spin studios. On a positive note, the front staff is an extremely friendly group of folks!
