I'm a former high school and college football player, and I thought I'd seen every kind of fitness regimen and health center in the world. This place takes it to another level, one that I never knew existed. I went by to take a look on the reccomendation of a friend who'd been there. I figured I'd stay for 10 minutes or so, ended up hanging around for three hours, because there is that much to experience, all of which I'd never experienced before. It's tough for someone like me to describe, it really has to be experienced. Your body will do things you never thought it could possibly do, which in turn is great for the mind and soul. But here's the money shot-the staff. I've belonged to health clubs all over the country, and not one of them had a staff that made me both look forward to coming in to work out, as well as believe in myself on a level I never have before. As they continually motivate you to bring out your best, they really make you feel like they are gaining and growing with you, as if your achievement is as vital to them as it is to you, maybe even more. It's a real family atmoshere, which is what sets it apart from everything else, at least for me. They really take you inside here and make you a part of the team, like pieces of a puzzle. Unfortunately I am only in Los Angeles for one week on business, but I am strongly considering taking some time off in the spring and moving out here for a couple of months and basically "living" at ESP so I can live the second half of my 30's and beyond the way these guys made me believe that I can. I always hated going to the gym, even when I was playing ball. But I can't wait to go back to ESP. It just bleeds health and happiness. You feel it just walking through the door, believe me. I'd worked a long day and was exhausted before I walked in. Five minutes later, I was ready for a marathon. This place is magnificent. I'll miss it when I leave town...but I am definitely coming back for it. It's that groundbreaking for me.
