By far the best yoga studio!
I love this place and the people that teach there. Each class I take I learn more about yoga and more about myself.
The teachers at Villiage Yoga are the best! We adore the owners Sally and Amy! My husband and I are stiff people and they are gentle, informative & kind! We love it there, definitely a yoga home for us.

I love this studio! The teachers are all very kind and the schedule is very consistent so it's easy to develop a regular practice. I have never been a fan of bikram yoga but village yoga delivers it better :) Also they have flow classes on the schedule as well so you can get everything you need from your yoga practice. I moved to Santa Cruz last summer and have been searching for my yoga home. I'm so grateful to have found village yoga and I recommend it to all beginners and advanced students .

This studio is the best! No stink in the yoga room! What a blessing for a hot yoga studio! The owners, Amy and Sally, are all heart! They recently expanded their schedule into other types of yoga which is super exciting! The teachers are passionate, educated and caring. The facilities are great too! Go check out this studio in the heart of downtown and grab some great food from awesome downtown cuisine after class!
The best yoga studio I could have hoped for. I have been in hot yoga studios all over the world, and Village Yoga in Santa Cruz is everything that all yoga studios aspire to be. The high standards expressed in the spirit of love, gratitude and compassion have been absorbed by the walls and amplified by the high quality, experienced team of wonderful instructors.
Very reasonable rates (UCSC student friendly!).
Perfectly located in downtown Santa Cruz and showers are on site, meeting friends, shopping, or having a meal right after class is super convenient.

I love this studio! So pretty and calm! Alana is the best teacher I have ever met! She is knowledgeable and patient while clear with instructions:) Everyone else who worked there was so nice, I felt so welcome and I'm definitely going back!
Exceeded my expectations. It was also my first time experiencing the Bikram method, so for those of you who haven't tried it - it's so much more therapeutic than regular yoga classes I have taken. Very purifying, very effective. The classes will perhaps vary depending on the teacher, but I really enjoyed the one I took. Am going back again today even though I'm a bit sore. It's a great vibe and I'm grateful for it, so I won't take a star off for their lack of space to change/get dressed. The shower and changing room is practically 1 room and it gets a bit crowded. But that again is spiritual practice, in this age of isolation, it helps being crowded with naked people and paying attention to your movements to be considerate. Great practice of awareness. Can't wait to go back and stretch and sweat myself into a better health!
