My g built this place and put a lot of blood sweat and tears into it...literally...when he went to the gym once it opened he was charged full price...considering he was the guy that did 98% of the construction job he should have at least got a discount if not a free membership

Scam. Scam. Scam. Dirty business practices by the owner. Place is a cult.

I enjoy this gym tremendously.

After reading some of the negative reviews below, I will admit it isn't for everyone. You have to be in some degree of physical shape walking in or the workouts they do will hit you like a brick wall and long term sustainability may be an issue for you. If you are morbidly obese or haven't worked out for >10 years, perhaps try Golds, Total Woman, or LA Fitness.

I served in the military and have been an avid runner since I was 14 - so joining his gym was almost a natural progression for me.

They do a free July every year - so maybe try it out with no commitment then...

I honestly don't know what the 2 people who left the bad reviews are talking about! The woman who said she "saw someone being humiliated as she drove by" must really have a lot of extra time on her hands to criticize something she knows nothing about. This gym is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my fitness life and I can't get enough! If you are serious about making a change in your fitness and can put aside your pride and stubbornness then the sky is the limit at this place. Everyone is super welcoming and treats you like family. I'm glad I found this gym and will be coming here as long as I can! If you're curious and just want to join in on a class to try it out feel free to stop by! Tell them Carlos Navarro sent you ;)

this morning while i was driving to work, i saw a woman on a street corner obviously struggling while the coach at this gym wore a viking helmet and an american flag and made her kick box. my question to the woman: what are you going to get out of this besides embarrassment!? why not actually show the person their athletic potential and encourage them through true functional movements? what good do you get of having people honk and take pictures of someone struggling? try weight lifting. try doing something with a coach that will encourage you to reach your full athletic potential. go somewhere where other athletes will encourage you and root for you to finish a workout and strive to help you complete it, not matter what. why not see real results with the assistance of real people who have had incredible successful stories? dear anyone thinking a boot camp atmosphere will help: try crossfit first. try a real gym with real weights and real functional movement. i promise you won't see any viking-wielding coaches making you workout on a street corner for their own enjoyment. you will see real results with real encouragement. this was the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen, and i have some really strange things in my life.

Reading the reviews I realized something. That it is not for everyone. It all depends on how you look at things. Everything has a pro and a con and its up to you to choose what you want to make of it. This style of training is on the military end, not your typical gym. Not for cry-babies, princesses, or whiners. If this is you, then don't walk in because u wont succeed. Because of his advertising, he has been able to upgrade his gym giving us the members an opportunity to have more training, equipment, different classes, basically more variety. Non the less, the quality of training is not compromised. When i did my first class I was HORRIFIED! I was also extremely impressed. It was soooo incredibly difficult and challenging and i never thought that i was capable of even doing that or having the stamina for those work outs. I was proud of my self at the end and felt accomplished, so I went to the gym for more. My whole life I have worked on my toosh and it never changed, Now, my butt is so damn hard I cant help but to rub it all the time :) ... I give it 5 stars because it has challenged me, I never leave without a challenge, the work outs are never easy and I never leave without looking like I jumped in to a pool. Drenched in sweat. for once, I don't feel like I am wasting my money on a gym.
