This place is pretty neat, and will keep you occupied for hours. The staff is really nice, and they provide any gear that you need. They have walls for all different levels of climbers, even if it is your first time climbing.
I came here a couple times while in Santa Clarita for a week. The route setting was really good. The climbs at the auto belays felt true to their grade.
Too Out Staff was Aaaammmmazing! They were patient and encouraging. Their energy was infectious and made me super excited to return. The other climbers were just as encouraging and extremely friendly which made for a wonderful environment to be in.
No top roping or lead climbing available. Principally a bouldering gym with a handful of autobelays. Got the impression the gym is very popular and receives a lot of heavy traffic. Didn't spot any brushes for the holds available to the public. Many of the holds were heavily chalked up and greasy. Friendly staff.
We love this gym! Myself and my family have tried most of the Los Angeles area climbing gyms, but we ultimately chose Top Out (despite it being one of the furthest from our house).
This gym is really centered around family and community. Which, at the end of the day, is really what it's all about!
All of the employees are amazing, and my littlest, who is too young to climb right now (minimum age is 5), is always welcome to come and hang out and watch. Not something I could say at other venues.
I haven't tried any of the yoga or fitness classes yet, but the climbing routes are always great and they change them up often enough that you'll never get tired or bored.
Also, their music playlist is top notch! No need to wear headphones.
I joined Top out on January 2015. Very smart owner and kind staffs.
Lots of self belay, I can practise as many as times by myself without bothering others. I am 68 years old man and I enjoyed 3 times per wks.

Amazing place. My boys are into climbing and asked me if I'd like to try it. I have to say I wasn't sure. I'm afriad I'd fall and brake something. However the top out gym is a perfect place to climb. It has an electronic rope you hook into so when you fall it catches you and brings you down nice and slow. Also the boulders are made for all types of climber. Me being inexperienced could find paths to take and yet the boys could do the hard climbs. Thank you Top Out for your gym where a family could climb together.

Been coming here for over a year. Howie is the best of course. They set new routes at the very least once a week. Plenty of room and super fun routes for both top rope and bouldering. The only drawback is the lack of lead.
I love this place! Amazing staff, awesome community of climbers, and great routes on both the top rope (with auto belay!) and bouldering wall. Been coming here for about a year now and I continue to keep climbing here for as long as I can.
