This is the best gym I have ever been a member of. My husband and I both became members when we moved in the area, and the owner has always been extremely friendly. I love the morning cycling classes! The racquetball courts are also awesome to play on before workouts, and nd they are nice and private. We are moving and I'm so sad to be leaving this gym because it's a huge hassle to find a new gym all over again. When we became members the owner answered every question or concern we had with paperwork, and she gave us time to look over paperwork before making our final decision!

Current member. Going to have to agree with all the other 1star reviews in regards to customer service. Staff is rude and management clearly doesnt care. Sat down in the managers office to voice my concerns and she actually got up and left the conversation to go and make some visitors walking by her office sign up for memberships. I mean if that doesnt prove that money is more important than customer service, idk what does. Billing issues are frequent. Was charged an "annual fee" on my 2nd month. Also I was never told about any sort of a contract, so how are you already charging me an "annual fee?" Tina at the front desk is the only reason I still come, she is the only one who truly seems to care. You go Tina!

Update 1/4/2020: turns out without discussion I was enrolled into a 2 year $900 contract. PEOPLE PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL BLANKS ARE FILLED AND ASK TO HAVE IT EXPLAINED IN DETAIL BEFORE SIGNING. I would have NEVER SIGNED had I known it was a 2 year deal. You can cancel, but you are obligated to pay the remaining portion of your contract. Not worth $700 to leave now. But knowing I'm contributing $900 PLUS maintenance fees, can you guys buy new mirrors instead of simply duct taping the shattered mirrors? Place needs a serious update.
Exposed live wires next to your metal barbells. Talk about motivation, get it right or get 120 volts to the dome.

Jeff is a great guy very friendly. However, it is uncomfortably hot to work out there. Also, we came to the woman that works there in regard to wanting to end or freeze our contract because of the cost; she was rude to my boyfriend over the phone/showed no compassion. Not a good vibe when you feel trapped in a contract.

Well i thought i was getting myself into something great when in reality being at this gym is one of the worst places i have ever been to. And also all of these other reviews claiming Dina was "awesome " or "great" or even that she is the " best " is all lies to the people she has scammed or even hurt financially or emotionally. I think she gets away with things because she is a very entitled human being and it is really disgusting. Jeff is part of the problem too because i have never seen him stick up for those being mistreated by Dina and he isn't the best at helping either . Dina is so unprofessional and some people see how she treats her clients by hanging up calls or not answering emails. DON"T TRUST THE OTHER REVIEWS ABOUT HOW THIS GYM IS GREAT BECAUSE THEIR IS A BROKEN A/C , BROKEN EQUIPMENT, AND MISSING WEIGHTS AND THE OTHER LIE IS THAT SHE IS NICE AND GOOD TO PEOPLE etc... THAT TOO IS A LIE AND SHE WILL CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT A LOT OF MONEY THEN LIE TO YOU!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM!!!!

Really the place to go for a wide variety of machines and the absence of people. It is very easy to design a circuit on five or six machines and do 5 reps through them without interfering with others or having somebody else want to come in. The freeweight machines are incredibly diverse. The weights aren't racked very well or very often but still, it is much better than competing for machines at Gold's or LA Fitness, both nearby.

The staff there are amazing. I had a roadside problem recently and they have been helping me since. Jeff and Dena are awesome. Very polite considerate people.

The gym was fine. Classes were pretty empty which is fine for yoga but not ideal for Zumba. When I needed to cancel due to relocation, they were so rude to me and just hung up the phone abruptly after shouting the email at me. I emailed my proof of relocation and they didn't respond for 10 days. Then they charged me an extra $54 and sent me to collections. I paid the enhancement fee AFTER they had processed my cancellation just to get collections off of my case, but they still send me daily emails. I'm extremely annoyed and hope there is a huge improvement in former customer service immediately. Step up SCAC.

DO NOT GO HERE. SCAM!!! This gym sucks they completely scammed us. I wrote a really in depth review on Yelp. But DO NOT GO HERE. THEY SCAM YOU and CHARGE YOU EVEN WHEN YOU CANCEL YOUR MEMBERHSHIP.

twice the size of every other gym in town and half as crowded. Jeff is the best employee they have. Walks you through everything they have to offer and doesn't do high pressure closes.

Santa Clarita Athletic Club is a great facility. The staff is very friendly and courteous, it's a family-orientated place that we can go and work out as a family. The pricing is reasonable and if you have a problem the staff will work it out with you.

This gym will not let you close your account. They will tell you that they are closing it and then will not. More than two months ago I had a conversation with the manager, Jeff, at the gym about my bank account being hacked and needing the close my accounts. He was polite and agreed to close them immediately. Two weeks later I began getting calls and letters from a third party looking to collect dues. I went back to the manager and he pleaded ignorance to the issue and promised to pursue the issue. He said he'd follow up with me in two days with confirmation the accounts were closed and the issue resolved. Instead he did not follow up with me and I needed to follow up with him. When I did he insisted he'd follow up with the issue again and get back to me. This back and fourth has been happening for weeks. He has given me one photo confirmation of one of the three closed accounts and is now trying to pass me to a different person who he promises will assist me. It is clearly not going to be what it takes to close the account. At this point, I have no ability to get the accounts closed. I have gone to the third party and they say there is nothing they can do. The general manager is even worse to deal with and in the meantime I am being charged hundreds of dollars in fees I cannot stop. I cannot allow this to effect my credit.

I love this place. I have lost 10" in 7 months. The people that are here are so helpful. I also have lost 21 lbs. I am so thankful of this place.

I came in to check the place out. I am from out of town and signed up for the 7day free pass. When I spoke to Dena she went from oh new customer and a big smile on her face to a despising attitude after I told her I am from out of town and wanted to use the free pass. I felt like I was talking to a shaddy car salesman she then went on to say you must be a local resident to use the free pass or pay 20.00 for the day because bla bla bla are facility is so amazing and everyone would use the free pass in other words. I felt like the website was misleading because it said first time users could use the membership. I could afford to sign up but I already have 2 gym memberships currently that are out of town. I might have considered signing up in the future because I may eventually relocate but after feeling a little bit like Julia Roberts in the movie Pretty Women when she goes to Rodeo drive to shop and the women came off rude I will take my business some where else.
