The absolute best in town. Yoga and soup, a match made in heaven
This is such a healing place. Love the Open Tending men's circles. Alisa's classes are incredible too.
There's a special, slow, caring, welcoming energy in this space.
Nurturing/safe space, deep and peaceful class flow or fierce and invigorating..its all here. Great teachers. Love Yoga Soup.
Much more than a yoga studio. A place where we feel welcomed, relaxed and loved. Besides the great classes and events offered 7 days a week, they have a variety of yoga props, amazing books and little gifts. The best part? You don't need to be a yogi to enjoy this little retreat; go, make yourself a cup of tea and relax lounging inside or in the lovely garden.

My experience here has been so valuable to me. The teachers are wise, down to earth, and so helpful. Make sure to check out their events page for really cool extras too! What a gift this place is.

If you are grieving the loss of a partner, come to Yoga Soup. When my partner died in 2014, I was devastated. During and after the funeral, all hell broke loose in his family, the craziest things happened. After the chaos died down, my emotions were stuck for a long time. I soon realized I needed to breathe and to move to let the emotions come. The teachers at Yoga Soup saved me. They are well-trained and serious about their craft, but also loving and kind. You can start where you are. Just breathe. The body-mind connection is real.

I practice yoga with Eddie, and he truly is the most amazing yoga teacher of all time. He teaches you get you mind quiet and be present in the thick of the moment. Also his classes are donation based even though it is a financial struggle possible.
Also this is truly a community unlike many other centers in town.
Namaste Eddie... You are an amazing soul.
I've been going to Eddie's class for years and love it! It's great for beginners and experience alike and is somehow the go-to class for hesitant boyfriends who are brand new to yoga. I also recommend the resistance stretching classes for those who want to go deeper. Beautiful studio, a great place to sit and have tea. There is a lending library as well as lots of great books for sale. See you there:)
Awesome place, great atmosphere and friendly staff. They offer classes for all skill levels; I started as a noob and have made a smooth and steady transition towards a more advanced practice. Anyone can find a fun yet engaging offering that will inspire you to come back again and again.
Yoga Soup was marvelous. The name Yoga Soup caught our attention as we were sightseeing after tasting chocolates at Maya and drinking java at Santa Barbara Roasting Company on State Street. Various traditions of hatha, jnana, and bhakti yoga. Special events in Santa Barbara, California. Classes, lessons, supplies, the diners eating breakfast around us were either coming back from a yoga class or going to a yoga instructor. Santa Barbara is very serious about appearance, looking perfect, aerobics, yoga, cycling, hiking, and surfing. Yoga Soup seemed very popular with in the city especially with events and as a meeting place to centralize the neighboring community. Yoga Soup is a must visit tourists attraction if you are practicing yoga even where we live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I hope more people from the health club in Nevada that we go to get to spend a weekend or longer visiting Santa Barbara's Yoga Soup.
Great place for yoga... Good vibes all around, and a lovely community to boot.
