I started going in early December and have seen amazing results in the almost 2 months I've attended classes. The ability to easily measure progress has made a big difference in my motivation, as has the team spirit that I see in the people who attend. I am traveling right now and this last weekend visited a crossfit style class (EVF) I used to do regularly, and both myself and the trainers were blown away by how much better my endurance was now that I've been doing the Killer B method. I used to end those classes on the floor, recovering for up to an hour, and this weekend not only did I not even need to sit down afterwards, I was able to attend 2 classes within 16 hours of each other. Bob (the owner and head trainer) is really on to something with this method and for anyone who is looking to make a real lifestyle change, I recommend joining Killer B. You'll learn the right techniques and become a part of a community of people who support each other in living a healthy life.

Update: If you are looking to get in shape and enjoy some fun competition, try one of the Eat Clean Challenges. It pushes you to be healthier and stronger inside and outside of the gym. Its such a great community of people and trainers that inspire each other to be the best they can be.

Previous Review: Killer B Fitness is awesome! I have tried many different gyms over the years, but never enjoyed any, until now - with Killer B I actually look forward to working out! The workouts are all about the numbers so you always know where you are, and it's easy to see improvement. The trainers are super helpful and motivating, and all of the members encourage and push one another.

Killer B Fitness is the best 1 hour exercise class/workout period. The guided classes are varied and fast paced so you never get bored. Each class works all muscle groups and cardio to increase stamina and strength. The professional trainers help to motivate, guide and keep you working. Everyone is really nice so the classes are fun and you work at your own pace. There are group weight loss programs and I've literally seen hundreds of pounds disappear from women and men. I've been going to Killer B for years and it keeps me fit.

Great place for a great workout. If you want to sweat, if you want to train hard, if you have fitness goals, then this is the place for you. Highly recommended for the beginner or the trained athlete.

The best workout facility I have ever belonged to! If you love competition, sweating, and having a great time while working out this is the place to be! I was hooked after my first class. Don't hesitate one second, try KB out and change your life for the better.

Joining Killer B Fitness was one of the best decisions I ever made regarding both my physical as well as mental health. I found myself steadily gaining weight, my back starting hurting because of my poor posture, and life as a graduate student was taking a major toll on my mental well-being. I tried starting exercise on my own, but
I always found it difficult to motivate myself to work out really hard if I was just on my own. I always found simple cardio to be very boring as well, so I looked into fitness classes in the area. I'm so glad I chose Killer B. There, you essentially get the attention and motivation of having a personal trainer without having to pay the high price for a personal trainer.

While most of the exercises you do at Killer B are cardio-focused, they all also activate multiple muscle groups at the same time. Between the five different cardio machines and the strength-focused exercises, every Killer B workout throughout the week addresses every major muscle group in your body. Sometimes you pair up with a partner to do relays on each of the cardio machines, which makes you automatically work out harder. Coupled with the constant encouragement of the trainer, I would never have been able to push myself to work out that intensely on my own. While the workouts can get very intense, they are also designed to be safe for your back, so injuring yourself is very unlikely despite the intensity. These exercises also strengthen your back and the various muscles that support your back, so you can quickly improve your overall general body strength while simultaneously losing weight.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend this gym. The trainers are all genuinely nice people who will pump you up when you're getting ready to throw in the towel. While it can be a bit cheesy sometimes, each day starts with a "quote of the day" that contains a small bit of wisdom as far as taking on the challenges of fitness (and life in general). I found it to be a very nice little touch of positivity.

If you're at all considering fitness classes like this, I highly highly recommend this gym. You really won't regret it.

I used to be fairly sedentary and had neck pain from my 25 year career as a dentist. I joined Killer B and started working out 5-6 days a week. It has changed my life. I have lost 30 pounds and am more fit than I ever been.

Killer B offers a different workout everyday. It maximizes your workout - you will work really hard, you have a goal, and they will guide you through the workout. Recently I tried another gym due to Killer B closure from the Thomas Fire. It was really nice but I found myself trying to figure out what to do, waiting for machines etc. Killer B is a fast paced workout where you have clear numbers to aim for and personal goals to meet. You can make it competitive...or not. I really only spend 5-6 hours a week working out. I used to have neck pain from my work. I now have zero neck pain partly due to the strength exercises at Killer B. I used to have high triglycerides and borderline high cholesterol. All are low normal now.

Many of my friends have seen my transformation and have joined Killer B. It is a great community of people all shapes and sizes but if they follow the program many people see great results. The Eat Clean Challenges have improved my diet and really aided the weight loss.

I highly recommend Killer B. It changed my life and can change yours too!

Killer B is an amazing concept with an amazing staff committed to a mission. That mission is health, fitness and well being.
I started at Killer B about 20 months ago. I wanted a supplement to my running and needed to add some strength training. I have been exercising for 30 years and been a regular runner for almost 20 years. I came into Killer B thinking I was fit and in shape. I was humbled! My baseline test put me at an 8! It was difficult in the beginning, but with the guidance of the trainers and support of other members I have improved greatly. I think the main thing that motivates me are the Killer B games. I thrive on the competition and challenge and look forward every month to see how I stack up against the incredible women in my age group. I am in total awe of them and continue to keep pushing myself to try and hang with them.
I know if I were going to another gym, I would go do the same ol' thing every time and not push myself to do more. If you are looking to get into the shape of your life and do it with a fantastic group of people supporting you, then Killer B is for you. Come and give it a try with a free class. I bet you will be hooked. Start the year out right and give it a try!

Best gym ever! I started at the beginning of January 2016 and have been going consistently 5 days a week ever since. Every workout is challenge and it is always something different. I love that people at completely different athletic/fitness abilities are putting in the same effort (based off their awesome zone and number system). My weight is down, my blood pressure is amazing and I have the most energy I have ever had in my life. I can safely say I am in the best shape of my life thanks to Killer B. On top of that the trainers are fully committed to Killer B and believe in it 100%. You will often find a trainer taking a class right along side you when they are not teaching a class. :)

Next month marks the beginning of my 9th year at Killer B Fitness. I love Killer B for many reasons, most importantly because I get results! The trainers are incredibly well-qualified, experienced, good, caring people with a passion to motivate others and help them to accomplish their goals.
I'm an athletic gal and I love being fit. My stamina and cardiovascular endurance improved dramatically shortly after I joined Killer B Fitness and I've been in great shape ever since! Not only has it improved my overall health and well being but I've been able to overcome a physical hardship in a relatively short period of time.
Five months ago I underwent a total knee replacement and have done really well because I was "killer" fit going into surgery. I returned to the gym after 2 months and with the support of the awesome trainers my strength is building steadily and safely. It's great to be back in such an encouraging atmosphere!
Killer B Fitness is a lifestyle for me and I won't consider any other gym. The friendships I've made here are meaningful and important and I'm really happy with the choice I made.
Oh...and by the way...I'm 62 years old now and at 58 I became Queen B 2014! Work hard and reap the rewards!!

I joined Killer B's after years of excuses for my increasing poor health and weight gain. I never thought I had the time between my 3 kids, husband and career. Boy was I wrong. I have been a member at KB for over a year now and can't imagine my life without it. I have lost 30 lbs, lowered my blood pressure and feel amazing. Because of these achievements, every aspect of my life has benefited. KB workouts are efficient, motivating, and hard! The trainers push me more than I would ever push myself. I just can't say enough about the KB community and the positive effect they have had on me. Through them, I have learned how to maintain a realistic balance between life, healthy eating, and exercise. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Killer B is! I'm so motivated by real and tangible results, both in my weight and muscle tone as well as overall fitness. Give this place one month. Go 4-5 times a week. You'll see why people stick around here for YEARS!

This is the most amazing workout! It's only $129 to try it out for unlimited classes and after that it is still the best deal in town! The trainers are super helpful, educated, inspiring, and dedicated to helping the clients. It feels like everyone in there is family! They are opening a new location downtown soon and I heard they are raising their rates, so better get in there quick!
