From my first class at the POYO, I knew I had found my yoga home. The teachers are inspiring and genuine. Each class I know I'm going to come out with a new way of being and a REALLY good sweat. It's a place to have fun, be real, and be part of a family. You can't beat the views looking out the windows at the SB mountains.

I have been going to Power of Your Om for a few years now. Since going, I have been seeing continuous improvement in how my mind and body feels. All staff are welcoming and really it feels like coming home. In studio, you get your butt kicked and sweat out all the things. Especially now doing classes virtual, I have found more deeper meaning in yoga and not just using it as good exercise. Adrienne, Tricia, Mikaela, Bella and the whole gang are awesome! Go here and support a true local yoga studio!

Excellent and Thoughful instruction. Instructors are truly invested in their students growth as yogis and people. Much more of a community feel than more corporate yoga studios. Innovative programs and classes. Highly recommend you give them a try. I mean, I can do a handstand from crow. Couldn't even dream of doing that a few months ago.

Power of Your Om hosts a lovely community of the kindest, most personable yoga instructors. They take the time to get to know their students, and are extremely supportive and inspiring. The classes are both fun and challenging- the perfect mix! The environment created by this studio is absolutely worth checking out!

Due to the nature of my life, I rarely get the opportunity to sweat out every fiber of my being, while also wishing for the sweet release of death. Power of Your Om gave me both of those and more. The instructor was nice, energetic and welcoming. Adrian even gave me some individual attention, tips and pointers as I sure as hell needed them.

This was my first time preforming yoga and although my body felt like I had been thrown off a mountain in the back of a Honda civic, it was a great experience and I would advise others to go and experience just how sore the human body can get when your wife and sister in law peer pressure you.

Great yoga studio. Calm, quaint, excellent practice! Not showy, or stuffy, just folks who want a great class. The instructors push you and keep it fresh, not the same old thing.

PoYo (as we call it) is a great, fun studio. Classes are usually well attended, fun, and challenging. Adrienne Smith always seems to challenge me, make me laugh, and get into a posture that I didn't believe I could do. PoYo has a strong community vibe, and there is a fun spirit. If you're looking for Heated Vinyasa Flow / Power Yoga, this is your spot. Studio also offers teacher training and has regular workshops to deepen your practice, going deep on pranayama, yin, essential oils, etc. So glad I found this community!

PoYo is my absolute favorite yoga studio in Santa Barbara. I have tried many others, and this is incomparable. Incredible, well-educated teachers who are so genuine and helpful, and each have their own twist on the classes. CLEAN, which is such an important quality for a yoga studio. Variety in classes- whether you are looking for a hardcore work out, or a slow relaxing light flow. There are power classes, rock your core classes, slow classes, classes with weights, slow jams, etc! Every time I leave, I come out feeling amazing- mentally and physically. It's fun, and again- the teachers are the best! I love them all. Love the studio. Will never leave.

I have been attending for 6 months now and I love it! It is a great community of teachers and students. I love the diversity in classes as well as all the monthly challenges and out of class activities they do! It definitely feels like a big family there, which make you feel right at home. Hands down, best studio in SB!

I've been practicing yoga regularly at Power of Your Om for almost 4 years now. The community is warm and welcoming. The classes are challenging and fun. I appreciate that in some classes there is music, and in others there is not. I feel comfortable arriving on my mat as I am that day, energized or tired. I thrive off the encouragement of the instructors to go deeper and to embrace little adjustments.

My purpose for practicing has evolved from when I started a consistent practice. Initially it was for fitness, but now it is an outlet to tune into myself, get out of my head and leave everything else behind. POYO is the place I feel comfortable doing that.

I've been going about 4 x a week for the last 6 months. Facilities are clean and well organized. Staff / Yoga instructors are all really friendly and great instructors. I've been progressing in my mobility and flexibility more than ever. I feel welcome and encouraged which is great, being a relative beginner to yoga with "lots of potential for increased flexibility". I don't hestitate to en courage my friends to come and join in on the classes. Power of your Om is a great yoga center in Santa Barbara. I love it that i can ride my bike, and park it inside the studio lobby.

I started going to Power of Your Om when I moved to Santa Barbara four years ago. Over this time, I've had major back surgery, was pregnant, and now have a toddler. And I kept going to the studio because I love it--and the community within it--so much. The classes are fantastic. I've taken yoga classes at several other studios in New York and in the Bay Area, and none compares to the incredible experience at Power of Your Om. The teachers--especially Adrienne, the owner--push you to your limit (both physically and mentally), all the while providing inspiration and encouragement. It's a fantastic workout, and I leave each class feeling less stressed than when I came in. I am now moving away from Santa Barbara, and honestly this studio is one of the things that I'll miss the most. I will definitely return whenever I come back to visit!
