This studio is part of a community and not just another exercise class in a corporate gym. For those who don't like when teachers "bring politics into the class" - guess what - politics affect us all. I appreciate when people honestly address them instead of pretending they don't exist. It's good to feel uncomfortable sometimes and question what's going on. I like my yoga with a side of meaning and connection to the world around us. Otherwise, what's the point of any of this? I'd love to see this San Leandro location hold more wellness workshops and series that go beyond asana (yoga poses) and are dedicated to creating a safe space for neighbors, especially those in marginalized communities.

Just had my first class here. The space is lovely. The teachers are excellent and kind. The workout is intense but interesting (but you can go at your own pace). The pricing is reasonable. Also the atmosphere is very chill and the vibes are awesome.
