i have many great things to say about Crunch! Friendly and professional staff, clean and comfortable gym and equipment, fairly priced memberships and I love the Saturday spin class!
Super nice location. Right off the Muni, which is good for me, I can hop right on/off the train on the way to work. Nice view of the bridge too.
Recently moved to SF from Wyoming. LOVE this facility. Super clean and not very busy the times I go. I noticed a lot of people work with personal trainers, which is really motivating. Excellent space.
Clean, not busy, and pretty well stocked with equipment.
For space-strapped SF, a decent amount of equipment. Busy hours are made busier by having the cleaning staff working during them. Locker room situation poor during remodeling, but improvements on the way.

I don't usually write reviews but I had a terrible time here so I wanted to share my experience. I ended my gym membership in January. I was then wrongly billed for 3 more consecutive months. I had to reach out to the manager of the gym to get refunded repeatedly. Beware of being charged by this gym long after you quit.

This place is a scam. They advertised at work offering a week trial; asked me for a card for incidentals; also I bought their vitamins with my card. That night they charged me $830 for the entire year. Forged a contract, pretending that I signed. They continued charging for upcoming months; fortunately my bank was able to stop them.

However, they charged me the very first day $829.63 that's for personal training plus monthly membership and other items that they cannot explain. They continued charging for upcoming months; fortunately my bank was able to stop them.
Not a huge gym. But has every thing you need. Steam room and showers. Good for downtown working crowd. Busy afterwork from 5-7 every day. Other times quiet. Great staff. Really nice people

Good location and good selection of classes. Showers and dressing area in women's changing room could do with a bit of refresh. Stretching area in gym is very small and often crowded. Overall good value for money with my corporate discount.

Took a pilates class via ClassPass--instructor was good but the room itself smelled HORRIBLE. honestly made me gag a couple times. I told the front desk staff and they agreed and said it's been a long standing issue. Don't go unless you've got a very strong stomach.

I have been using this location for six months now. Customer service is below par. Locker room is outdated. Some cut the lock in the men's locker room and stole my work laptop. When I reported this to the staff member, her instant response was,"sorry we are not liable for your loss". There was no empathy or any desire to assist.
Now on the positive note, members are generally nice and it is a clean place.
