What an experience! You pay 30USD for one class and get shoes, fiji water and a towel included. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The class was cool and challenging, for my taste the music/microphone was a bit too loud.

If you ever wondered what doing a spin workout in a dark, crowded, and loud nightclub would be like, look no further. Definitely not my thing, but the staff and the facilities were great.

I just want to start out by saying that my faith in Humanity is restored! The staff was so warm and friendly to my two kids and I to let us use the restroom, when we were stuck in 2hr SF traffic on my birthday mind you leaving SF after visiting family. They were so gracious and sweet. I just wanted to say a million thank you's to your kindness and friendliness.
No wonder my friend loves this location! I would totally come to this location, but I live in the East Bay :(
Many blessings to the whole staff!

The staff here are really nice! The entire operation is very well run and organized and the class was a blast. This location is particularly nice because it's in the Salesforce alley area where there's lots of seating that becomes empty once it's after work hours (after 5-6 PM). In addition, there's plenty of bus stops nearby for easy transport. My only complaint is that it can be very crowded and hectic, so arrive early and make sure you have all your ducks in a row (locker situation, clothing, water bottle, etc.)

Great location for spinning with clean decor and a dedicated staff. No real complaints here for a non NYC Soulcycle. Represents the brand well

It was fun riding to the beat. The instructors were energetic. And it got me off my butt.

Studio is very cramped. If there person in front sits up, you'll have a sweaty back inches from your face. Lockers aren't big enough to hang a shirt or suit, changing area is separate from lockers and way too small. Class is less focused on cycling, more whole body fitness. Very expensive for what you get.

Ah, the SoulCycle cult. I have such a love/hate relationship with it. For one, spending $35 on a class is a seriously ridiculous thing to do, but the atmosphere is amazing and supportive and if you have that kind of money to blow on a fitness class, its definitely worth it. I took the free class and felt like I was very much out of place and invisible, since I came alone, am quiet, wasn't wearing lululemon, and generally give off lost/scared vibes. I still hate the relentless branding but at least in SoMa, the staff are stellar. The manager, Ashley, is AMAZING and a super friendly/nice person who went way above and beyond to make me feel included at the studio. She responded to my negative comments courteously, and although I was completely turned off after my first class, she convinced me to do another one (she gave me another free class since I had such a bad time) and i LOVED IT. An amazing workout and as someone whose done Spinning for many years, I have never had instructors who were so positive; A problem I often have with instructors is that they bring the focus on fat-burning, calories, and the aesthetic side of Spinning, but these instructors reinforced that its about mental health as much as physical. I would love to go more, but the price is prohibitive.

Wanted to hate soulcycle but it has definitely won me over--not for the touchy feely stuff but for the quality of the instructors and the music lists. Quality of the instructors varies but not widely like other spinning chains--great experience.

The space is a little small which makes it hard for spur of the moment group trips. Crazy good selection of beer, wine and a very impressive (overpriced) whiskey selection. They serve sandwiches and salads which were pretty good, but left me hungry layer that evening.

I've been to a few SoulCycles, but the one issue with this one is that they need a better floorplan. It's incredibly crowded when there is a switch between classes and you always end up accidentally running into a sweaty person next to you before your class. Or there's a really long line for the bathrooms. The studio is fine, just the layout of the lockers and locker rooms.
