Unable to cancel my subscription. Have emailed twice, called them. They said they read my email and emailed me back, they didn't. Then said "oh must be someone else". Then they told me I had to email someone else etc.
I read lots of reviews about this. Very sad that they don't value customer service and integrity as much.
Update: Still waiting. How hard can it be to press a button and cancel?

Update2: emailed the below email. Waiting for response. I'll update this once it's cancelled.

Update3: After emailing 3 more times I finally got a response from Ariana Enriquez the "person who does cancellations". And she said (see picture) "we are currently freezing all memberships so we can't cancel any"..... You can't make this stuff up. As if it's their right to decide when they can cancel. They are legally going against the contract and if/when they get sued they will get into trouble. I wonder how much they've stolen from people who don't want to sue them.

Horrible customer service! Never had a horrible gym like this. Go away or you want to face many billing issues.
- For medical freeze, I called 10 times, wrote 5 emails, and came to the gym IN PERSON once within a month which only the operations manager can process. She was either not in the office, or out for lunch, or was in meeting. She was also not responsive for emails and never called back.
- For canceling membership, I went there IN PERSON, and filled the form. The staff told me the form was the proof of cancelling, however I got charged for the month 3 weeks later.

I really like this location despite the machines are old fashioned and a little bit confusing to find the right one to the next exercise. What delays the working out schedule. They offers so many different classes, I have tried the Pilates sculpt and ballet barre both are fun and challenging.

01/03/2020 EDIT: 2 new dip belts and a new rotating bar is now available

I want to give this gym five stars, but I simply can't due to a few issues that I have been noticing. The staff is friendly, the equipment is plentiful (Will elaborate), and the classes offered are not too shabby either. My issues are listed below;
1. Equipment maintenance needs to happen more often! I have been at this gym for almost 6 months and their olympic barbells all roll! This is a huge safety issues especially when doing anything that involves gravity downward (Bench press, decline, etc). Dip belt broke about three months ago and was never replaced, now we are being upped $6 per month for our fees!

2. Classes sometimes fill-up and seems packed (Using Yoga for example), it would be nice if they preplaced yoga mats/equipment before each class as sometimes the headcount per person doesn't seem the match the space that it is provided (My last class there were way too many people that signed up or didn't sign up so I got this awkward wall spot or also people who show up and didn't sign up).

3. Re-racking of weights! There are enough trainers on the floor to call out people who don't do that, I lift pretty heavy and always re rack all my weights without issues, but people leave 10, 25, 35, 45 places all over equipment and it is not enforced.

Overall a good gym, but I would love to see either more reinforcement or an enroll cap (It is getting rather busy at some non-peak hours, I can't imagine new year resolutions and how they will be handled).

Fair amount of equipment (3 power rack/platforms). Gets pretty crowded though

I was suuuuper disappointed. All-in-all, a TERRIBLE experience.

For a "non-judgemental gym" I felt utterly judged from the moment I stepped in. I came for a free trial with my friend. Before we could even try out the gym, they shuffled me over to a membership advisor. The advisor immediately barraged me with a bunch of pointed questions about where I live, where I work, what I do, how much I worked out, how interested I was in joining. Obviously gauging whether or not he could make a sale. After he was satisfied, he said something like, "I don't think you're that interested. Trials are for people who are interested in joining." I felt really judged, like my current amount of exercise or the potential for dollar signs was too low to be considered worthy of a trial. I told him, I might be interested, I'd just like to try. They said they had a free trial, so I should be able to get one. He rulctantly agreed, but tried to get me caught up on some technical issues, like needing an ID (which I didn't plan on bringing my wallet & extra stuff to the gym, so I offered to run back to work to get it). Then he said that I would need to prove that I lived nearby. I don't, but I work nearby, so then he needed me to prove that. I offered to run back to get some mail from my desk at work, but at this point, all of my excitement about trying out this gym with my friend was long gone, and we didn't have time to do our workout anyway, so I just gave up and we went around the corner to Ghirardelli to get an ice cream instead.

My half hour inside was fairly miserable. Plan on justifying your existence to someone for about 20-30 minutes befure you can try out the gym and be sure to bring your passport & proof of residence (within some unknown distance fo the gym - whatever they feel like at the time).

Also, the gym was completely packed, was warm, smelled musty & gross, and the whole front section was a bunch of sales-people's desks - just unpleasant & unwelcoming to be in. Maybe that's your jam, but my advice - steer clear of this gym. Many of my friends have been pretty happy with the 24 just across Market.

Best gym I've been a part of. Minus one star for only 1 incline bench when they have 3 racks and regular benches :)

All members are so chill and so casual. Couldn't possibly ask for a better gym membership at this price tag!

I really like this gym. I know gym training and play at a high level, have directed sports performance programs and can tell you the entire Westside Barbell protocol from memory. If you're doing your own thing, this can be a good fit. Gets super crowded at rush hour. Can get muggy in the locker room. Treadmills have worn out buttons. Not enough space to stretch or do core. But they have some interesting equipment, Olympic weightlifting platforms, lots of free motion cable systems that all are in good shape, plenty of foam rollers, etc.
The trainers, on the other hand, are interesting. Only two are in better shape than I am, and I'm not in phenomenal shape at the moment. Seriously, when it's your job to get people into good shape, don't show up fat or scrawny. Test your methods on yourself before rolling them out on others. Fundamentals like avoiding loaded internal shoulder rotation, or teaching the basic hip hinge, are lost on many of these trainers. If you need a trainer, go elsewhere. There are heaps of good ones in SF, and most are hungry for customers.

Nice staff, convenient location, clean place, good selection of gear and not too crowded: I really like this place. As I was traveling and planning to stay only a week in the city, I asked if they had a weekly pass, as I couldn't see any on their website. And sure, they had one ($50/week; still a bit steep, but on par with what I see elsewhere). I wish they stayed open a bit later over the weekend, though.

Amazing staff, lots of fun classes that u can join and they have experienced personal trainers

Love working out there was great. Always good customer service and the people that workout their mind their own business. Overall not a weird place to workout and actually get a good workout on!

Love the spin classes. And the staff is super friendly!

Clean, lots of weights and even when busy you can find free machines and weights. Can get stuffy, air circulation could be better. What's most frustrating is that despite the large and busy locker room, even when no one is there like on a Saturday morning, I counted over 80 locks on lockers in the men's room. During the week it's hard to find an open locker to use. I've brought up the issue, they said they would address and six months later its just the same. I understand there are some people who pay monthly for a personal locker, but I shouldn't ever go to they gym and not be able to find a space to secure my personal items so I can work out.

Not just another chain gym. They have a decent amount of free weights, and a couple of trainers that understand powerlifting.

good classes and the instructors are great. The restroom is very clean all the time.

You can find a gym on every corner in SF but the people that work here make this my favorite gym in the finincial district for sure.

Clean machines, great classes, solid free weight section, separate floor for cardio, free towel service and staff that actually wants to help you reach your goals. I'll see you there.

Good selections of weights, large locker room. The place is pretty dead on weekends, which I love. You can get a California Freedom membership too, which gives you all-access to California gyms.

Good gym for business travelers located near several major hotels. Feels crowded. Good enough equipment to get through a workout but not for serious powerlifters or weightlifters
