Stopped by while in San Francisco to visit the local Elks Club in The Kensington Hotel. Got a nice tour and signed the guest book. Beautiful hotel also! Discount rates for Elks members

Went to the All-you- can - eat crab legs dinner. Boy Scouts serve, which is awesome! Kitchen was slow getting courses out. NOT the scouts' fault! Live music was good.

As a member for the last 8 years, i've found this place extremely frustrating over the years..Many things still don't work..The pool has been down 4 times in 18 months for long, like months, stretches of time..The Steam Room has been shut down 3 times this year..all for stuff that should have been done when they put the new doors in..While the Manager, Scott, is good, and responsive, he gets alot of things dumped on him w/o any word from anybody..As someone who is a Born and Raised Frisco Native, i've been very disappointed in the way things go..There are nice cardio machines, the weight room is great, but the little things just keep adding up and have for many many months..and it just seems like a few people do make-a-job things there that shut things down for the rest of us while they pad their pocket..They used to blame things on the old management, and that was vaild..but the old regime has been gone two years now and things still are nowwhere close to being operation, especially, again, the pool and the steam room, Probably the two most important reasons why people join..If they fix those things and everything runs smoothly, i'll change my rating..right now i can't..
