This is a beautiful space, a hidden sanctuary with superb teachers, a welcoming spirit and clean facilities. A highlight of our visit to the US - thank you

Awesome studio. Did yoga weekly here for several years. Great class, great vibe, and you can do drop in.

My friend and I had a wonderful time on our tourism.

A place where you are not judged for doing the pose, you are invited to do child's our whatever. Don't have a ton if $? donate what you can!! I've brought 2 dollars in change and they thanked me the same as when i offer 10. Cant carry a mat or plan mid day you can rent one for$2! Just try it but don't expect to come in 5 minutes after class started as you get buzzed in my instructor and once they're teaching its go time. Great for beginners and pros plus trainings to become a teacher for a very good price!

Good classes, I like the 90 minute class at noon during the weekend.

Good place for beginners in yoga practices.
Not so clean. But donation based yoga is cool anyway.

Wide availability of classes and a very accessable vibe! Plus it's only $2 to rent a mat, which I do every time.

Up 5 flights of stairs, beautiful hardwood floors and brick walls and a view of the city skyline in a peaceful setting make this an ideal spot to practice yoga. It is mostly beginning yoga but they let us guys do regular practice there as well. I have been coming for years and what's different about this place is that you don't sign up, you choose how much you want to pay ($10 donation suggested). While there are lots of suggestions that I could offered to make the place better it's got a lot of things going for it so I'll just leave it at that for right now. Great place for anybody to come to yoga. Oh yeah what's nice too is it is held from early in the morning till pretty late in the evening 7 days a week and that's a definite plus.

Great space. Wonderful teachers.

It's very sweaty and lots of people but very affordable. The routines get tiring after some time. It feels a bit robotic and I miss the innovation of new poses and approaches at other studios.

Very good yoga classes, pay as you can. Up a few flights of stairs, inside a very serene wooden yoga space. Participants here usually have a pretty strong yoga game, though it runs the gamut. Can get pretty sweaty and close quarters, but definitely a worthwhile experience if into Yoga and in SF.

Best prices for yoga in SF! It's donation based so pay what you can pay. The classes feel a little bit like Russian roulette for a seasoned yogi because they don't have a regular staff schedule, meaning you won't know who's teaching until you show up. Also, that makes it hard to know what kind of class you'll be getting because it could be the instructors first time teaching or someone who's been doing it for a while. Be patient even if class is really not what you wanted it to be and enjoy the view. Studio looks out from the 4th floor at the scenic skyline of downtown San Francisco. Unfortunately, it is located in a super sketchy part of town. Be prepared to have some interaction with a homeless person when going or leaving this studio. As a female, I go with friends in the evening bc you know there is safety in numbers.

We need more spaces like this. And not just for yoga.

This place is great. Not a traditional setting but it is really about the body and mind...not surrounding. You can also be in front to get a good view of the city....if the windows not all foggy. LOL.

It can be packed depending on the time of day but I don't mind it.

Pros: donation based, none are turned away for lack of funds. Good class schedule. Big studio with lots of light. Close to BART. Cons: There is not much detail spent on proper alignment cues, on individual needs (I have noticed many people doing poses that were not suited for them), I have also been injured by a couple of unsafe transitions between poses, the loud vibrational breathing cues sound very sexual (and are not part of classical yoga), talking through savasana, and I have had teachers no-show before. - With that said, I do come here quite often and enjoy modifying the practices to suit my needs. I really appreciate that there is a space for people to come and experience the taste of yoga.

As a Bay Area yogi, YTTP has one of the most selfless yet magnificent vibes. The spirit and soul of the studio can be felt from the moment you enter to when you leave magically entranced by savasana. Love this place! Donation based class, and come with an open mind because you won't even know who's teaching that day.

This place is fantastic. Donation based yoga in a huge beautiful space. Sunset and sunrise times are great because the light changes so much in just an hour. The teachers always change so it's not a place to just find one teacher, but rather to come at nearly any time to get a yoga practice in.
