A nice place for yoga practice in the mission. Like their class offerings and the teachers.

gentrification at its finest. Another yuppie hot spot in the mission

The space is open and clean and the location is located near BART.

While the studio is open to all, it lacks in diversity, which is something which is lacking for studios beyond Love Story. While the price point is on-par for other studios in the area, it unfortunately does not allow it to be (monetarily) accessible for many, further promoting the homogenous nature of many studios.

Love this studio. It is clean, very spacious and nice facilities. Functional yoga room, great instructors, love how they offer lots of advanced stuff. I recommend for sure!

SF has a community of elite yoga teachers. Stephanie Snyder, co-founder and instructor of LSY, definitely falls in this category. For a while it was her following alone that kept the lights on until the studio got traction. The prices might shock you and if they do, don't worry this happens to most of us. It comes down to the fact that you're paying the prices your paying for the talent. While you have several other studios within walking distance to pick from this is the studio you go to when you want your butt kicked. If you're a seasoned yogi and leave yoga frustrated if the class was too mellow then you're prayers have been answered by LSY. It's a great workout and they also have showers to clean up after class ( a luxury lacking from most studios in the city) If you're looking for more affordable yoga go down the street to donation based Yoga For The People.

I love everything about this place! Great teachers, great facilities, great location. I am so happy to have this studio in my neighborhood.

Love Story Yoga is an epic experience that everyone is talking about and I suspect it is on its way to becoming a landmark in the history of San Francisco culture. This landmark is all about personal healing, health, spirituality and community. Stephanie Snyder's twenty years of devoted service to the yoga community is palpable at Love Story.

The love and dedication in this business shows in every detail and personal interaction. Doing two teacher trainings here has deeply and profoundly changed my life for the better.

A fine example of a gentrification yoga studio. Great welcoming fronterior, but that's where it ends. The studio is in a basement with pillars obstructing views, the charge for renting mats and towels is overpriced @ $2 as are the classes that are more expensive than most studios around. There are no water cups, which is basic courtesy, they recommend you buy mason jars from them should you want some water. After a week of sampling, I found the classes to be more Bro-yoga or Faux-yoga types, building muscle in Yoga class is always a bad idea.

Stephanie's yoga is transformational. Be prepared to sweat next to 100+ yogis, but you get a good workout and also a clear and peaceful mind. I love its healing effect combined with physical strength. Equipped with shower and nice interior. Next to 16th BART and can grab coffee or dirty chai at Stanza afterwards.
