Our gang really loves the impressive line up in the Speaker Series located at the JCC.
I like the new theater here a lot. The only drawback is that it is so far away from the East Bay, but other than that I like seeing performances here. The dance and music selections are usually very good and there isn't a bad seat in the house. I'm glad when something gives me a reason to go here.
Lol no synagogue. Calling this place à "jewish" community center might actually be false advertisement.
the JCC is amazing. I believe in what it stands for and in what it creates. I will play and represent this organization in any sport or poetry/literary competition morseo than other city groups ie: olympic club, respectively.
My friend works in their accounting department, she identifies as Chinese and agrees from an internal perspective that this is a wonderful organization.

Great gym if you live in the area. Nice locker rooms, free classes with membership, and a cool loyalty program. Peak hours can be pretty busy though.

Fabulous place to exercise. They have great classes, a nice restaurant to grab food, and we love having access to childcare at our gym.

Good indian food
The swimming lessons for children are terrific for the most part.
To start with, the facility is top notch. The locker rooms are great. The lap pool is great. And the shallow pool where children take lessons is warm and large enough. There is parking under the building for a fee. In the lobby there is a snack bar.
The teachers we have encountered have been excellent. They are comfortable with scared young children and are good at getting them to have a good time in the pool.
The atmosphere in the pool area isn't nearly as loud as the atmosphere at La Petite Baleen, another popular place to teach children to swim in San Francisco.
went here with friend from school who wanted to work out on the machines. i was listening to the soundgarden song or something and left. i think paul stanley gave a TED talk here to people paying $90 each

Outstanding community events, top rated exercise facilities and the noisiest pool area ever! Work out, hot tub, hit the steam room and or sauna, shower and then grab a smoothie at the cafe. This place needs to clone their mission in more communities.

Having been to a ton of gyms around the city... Definitely one of the best gyms in the city - without paying the exorbitant prices of Equinox (it is a great alternative to it).
Great family & young professional environment, and welcoming to people of all races, colors & creeds. Very, very clean and all brand new and super well maintained equipment.
If you live by here and are a young professional you can all get on a "family plan" together with your roommates which makes it much more affordable. All around highly recommended!

Went here once for a spin class with a co-worker. Great place to join. The facilities were really nice and clean. I haven't been back since, but I would love to get a membership here.
