This is my first experience with pilates, and it's been incredibly helpful. After a series of sessions with Karen, I have noticed immense improvement around my back pain and overall health. I have struggled with back and hip issues for about 10 years, and pilates seems to be finally getting at the root of my trouble.
Beginning with basics, such as how I am breathing, we have made some powerful shifts in how my body moves. Karen's simple exercises have helped to engage muscles that have seemingly been asleep for years while disengaging the hip flexors and giving them a break from all the unnecessary work they've been doing.
Karen has been really supportive and intuitive through this process, and I am so glad to have found her and pilates.
