I have been to yoga studios in at least 30 cities all over the world, practicing for nearly a decade. This is the rudest one I've ever been to. I've never walked out of one, or even had a bad experience at one, until today. I have personal & professional reasons for keeping my identity information as private as possible. Having already given them my name, address, phone number, email, and paid with a credit card online, the woman at the front desk greeted me with the hostile and officious demeanor of a prison matron, and demanded that I provide my full legal name before they would let me attend a class. I've never encountered this anywhere else and it makes no sense whatsoever, nor do they have any right to my full legal name (I provided my initials and last name as I do to any person or business I do not know personally). I simply told her goodbye and left. I'm still deliberating whether to demand a refund.
In addition, the class was over-packed cheek to jowl with students crammed tightly together.
I've been a regular at several studios in SF and wanted to give this one a try.
Never again...
Really the best studio I have ever been to. Really nice energy, committed teachers and a genuinely nice group of people to take a class with.

The worst yoga experience and customer service in San Francisco. Ironic that the whole point of yoga is to cultivate loving kindness and the woman at the front desk is the antithesis of that. Rude, unprofessional, and condescending. Will support another studio that actually treats its customers and yogis with respect.

Great little studio in the heart of SF, with great teachers, good facilities and perfect schedule. The owner, Elizabeth, has a huge heart and is of great knowledge and inspiration. The studio offers discounted community classes in the weekend which is great, and affordable rates for first and long lasting students. We did a 15 days trial while visiting for 30$ only!
The class temperature is perfectly challenging, the wooden class floor is clean and the shower is very big and also always free.
I may be a bit biased because I teach here, but the truth is that this is the best hot yoga experience in the city! Not only do I teach here but I have been a patron for nine years, eight years before I started teaching. I have continued to come back and back because I always feel better leaving then when I came. This is an awesome space for healing and community in the Inner Sunset. Elizabeth Palmer, the owner, has been running the business for 16 years and the pride she takes in the business shows...the studio is beautiful, the most clean yoga studio I have ever been to - with antimicrobial rubber flooring, and the room is cleaned in between each class. I feel blessed to be able to call this studio my yoga home, come on by and share in the love!
Great little yoga studio in the heart of the inner sunset district. Has a very welcoming presence which any yogi of all levels would appreciate. Plus, it gets real hot which is always a great way to relieve stress.
Great Yoga small yoga studio that is very affordable. Elisabeth is an awesome teacher too. Will definitely come back here next time I visit.
My first time in SF and first time to Bikram yoga and I loved it! At home, I practice ashtanga yoga so I was familiar to some poses but Claire, the instructor really helped me and made me feel really welcome! If I ever come back to SF, I'd definitely come back :-)
