4.5 stars. After two knee surgeries, and another knee injury possibly needing a third surgery, I needed a way to exercise that wouldn't kill my knees. This place is expensive (thus the 4.5 stars), but the staff are super friendly and helpful. You are paying for a class that has usually no more than 12 people per teacher, so you get more attention. The instructors are amazing, especially Michele, Amanda and Trisha. They watch you and adjust your positioning so that you don't injure yourself and so you get the maximum benefit. I'm happy to say I am more toned than I've been in 15 years, my knee pain is virtually gone, I can walk/run without pain, carry my 40-lb preschooler around without an issue, and I've lost about 25 pounds since starting pilates a year ago (and watching what I eat). They offer a teacher discount and sometimes also promotional discounts. I end up paying about $19-20 per class on an 8-pack (8 classes per month). For me, comparing paying $35-40 a month for a gym membership, this seems very pricey, but compared to $200+/hour for physical therapy sessions, it's a steal (and much more effective, in my opinion). I recommend starting once a week and working your way up to twice a week if it works for you. The stretching alone worked wonders on my lower back, hips and knees. I feel strong and I sleep better with less pain. Thanks, Club Pilates!
