Nice gym But location can be hard to get out of . If there is a fire in this strip mall you could get caught in a mess. Who In the city let that happen Not safe in emergency location

Walked in today Feb 11th 2020 at 4:17 am. Greeted the girl in the front desk and she scanned my phone without replying back or taking her eyes of her phone. She must have super powers because she scanned my phone on the first scan without ZERO% care in the world. I know its early but the management needs to talk to her about customer service or tuck this girl in the back to fold towels. Giving LA Fitness a sore eye. Other than that gym kicks butt.
Lots of good equipment that the gym keeps maintained. Friendly staff. The cleaning staff doesn't do that food of a job cleaning. I've seen him on cardio equipment.
They have updated the gym. It looks amazing! Thank you so much for the upgrade!
One of my favorite LA fitness to go to it's open and modern. Staff has always been friendly. Sometimes have to wait for weights but never that long. Everyone is very friendly as well just a great place

Ok gym to get a good workout, but starting to show its age. Recent remodel only brought in newer versions of some cardio equipment and some interior design type settings to floor and walls, otherwise it doesn't do much for functionality of the gym. No updates to weights or facilities like locker rooms, sauna, pool or bathrooms. Pool water gets cloudy more often than I've seen at other places and there's no rules or etiquette enforced for exercise or attire in the pool. People often occupying all lanes for recreational swimming rather than lap or actual exercise use. Seeing people in tshirts and gym shorts is not uncommon, and even more than a few times swimming or soaking in only underwear. The sauna is low heat or out of order about 30% of the time and there is NO sauna etiquette posted or required like at other gyms, so it gets pretty filthy. No shower or rinsing required, people in street shoes and clothes, people hanging their sweaty clothes to dry by or on the furnace, wringing out their sweat on the porous wood where one seats, bringing in weights and listening to music on phone speakers, and people taking selfies with no regard to others in the background. Crickets and roaches are now common in the sauna. Locker room itself is not kept clean, with trash and used paper towels all over the benches, floors and empty lockers. Same deal with phones in locker rooms where people taking mirror selfies with no regard to who's buck naked changing in the background.
Staff are really just sales people, there is no culture of service unless you're buying a membership. Night staff just manages the front desk and can get pretty rude by closing time because they want to leave on the dot, often with threats of locking doors to lock people inside and more than a couple of times, with threats of revoking membership if not out right at closing time. Haven't seen it lately, but for a while, also women staff going into the men's locker room with little to no warning 5 minutes before closing to pressure members to leave on time, often with people still changing, and yelling at members like they're cattle and not paying members. All this mostly pertains to my years of experience at this gym at night hours, 5-2 hours before closing which has been fairly consistent. Though daytime visits haven't been that much different either.
In short, decent gym for strictly business workout, but if you require customer service, clean facilities and a considerate gym culture, this is not the place to go.
They were very nice and attentive to me until I relocated to another place and had to change my gym to a different franchise. When I came there in person to cancel my monthly transactions, they changed their attitude towards me and were really rude.

I love this gym. I have been to numerous LA Fitness locations and this one is by far my favorite. It has an excellent selection of both cardio and machines. The free weight area is ample and I have found this location to be my favorite. Be warned though, if sports is your thing this location lacks a basketball court.

Love that I can get a great workout, swim my laps too! They also have Silver Sneakers!
Great gym but the workers here are not polite. When me and my friends were there for workout one the the guy talked with us in unprofessional language even though we did not know him.
It's way too packed and the sales people are liars. They gave me a free week pass and once i got there they said they could only give me 3 days. Then the sales guy moves his stuff and a big stack of free week passes fell out. Can't do business with people like this. Stay away from this place. They do the old bait and switch on you. Much better gyms around. I will never do business with LA fitness after what i went through a few days ago

Always clean & friendly staff every time I go. The pool is my main focus for knee rehab, and it doesnt dissapoint
This can be a great location.
Just upgrade the equipment; it's showing it's age.
Also, like many other locations, this location has added pilates and stretch programs.
I don't care for them but the stretch area is right in the middle of everything and looks like a promo booth from a fair.
I think they should just use a racket court like they did with the pilates.
Overall I like this place it's normally clean and the location is convenient for me, BUT the employees seem to lack common courtesy. They normally gather and converse in the front and the only interaction I get from them is when I'm trying to workout and they need to sale a trainer. It's annoying and feels condescending.
Also, at first, I thought the hours were good too, but now I'm thinking I might join 24.
The classes are pretty good I guess I only take them occasionally.
Love it here. I usually go in the afternoons because of my work schedule and it can get packed around 5 but they have alot of machines and equipment so I can definitely work out around the fuss.
I have never been to a gym that offered childcare and that makes it really convenient by eliminating one more excuse not to focus on my fitness. On top of that, it seems to be very professional, all of the CC staff are positive, competent and attentive individuals that I make me truly feel comfortable leaving my child the entire time I work out.
The gym vibe here is great, there are all kinds of people here from different walks of life and everyone's here to do work. No weird fitness show-offs trying to get attention like those youtube videos or comic standups mention. Everyone is staying in their own lane, focusing on their business and it's really motivating to see people coming to the gym to actually get a focused workout. The way the machines are lined up is extremely intuitive, making it easy to find a workout for a particular muscle group. The floor staff are all friendly, helpful and willing to answer questions about machines.
The free personal fitness trainer session helped me set a target for my goals, Jason K. provided me with the knowledge to quickly settle into an intense workout strategy. While the personal fitness trainer program is currently outside my budget, they did offer to work with the pricing and it was very reasonable. I feel that what they offered was well worth the money and I will definitely consider signing up in the future.

Used this location during a day trip in the area. Clean, spacious and easy parking! I love its varieties, swimming pool, racquet ball, etc....
Joined for the classes. So far they have been terrible. Lots of times it is a sub because the teachers apparently can't be bothered to teach their classes or the instructors are new and don't know what they are doing or are super old school and the methods seem dated. Not to mention they don't even have bard but only hand weights even the YMCA equips their classes better. Disappointing and that isn't even going into the pushy sales staff. If I were you I might check out 24 hour fitness down the road. For now we are stuck with them because we have to make the initiation fee pay off.
This company as a whole is what is wrong with gyms. Their whole membership system is absolute rubbish. They will nickel and dime you every chance they get. And they make their cancellation process an absolute nightmare. ( come in 10-4pm) ONLY MON -FRI , do people not work?? Or your second option print a cancellation form and mail it...This gym in particular has a weight room that smells horrific. Just stay away. I am going back to 24 hour fitness.
I mostly use their three-lane pool. Good place for a swim. It's almost never too crowded for me to hop in.
This is my gym, theres lots of equipment to use and everyone is as nice as should be expected. The only thing I don't care for is the constant sales people walking around trying to sell personal training and the gym gets a little packed after 5pm during the week.
Big Gym vibe and Smell, but I like it. I wish there were more free weights available and racked, but whatevers. The Sauna is nice here, and it's not co-ed. I like that. The Yoga is not Source status, but so far It makes the membership that much more valuable. This location is my favorite so far.
