Joining this gym 1 year ago literally saved my life. I was becoming increasingly immobile. I was barely able to walk from the parking lot into my graduation ceremony June 2016. I remember clinging to a fence and crying because the pain in my back was excruciating. I had zero core strength due to a surgery and subsequent infections the year before. I remember shortly after I joined RFBBC, we had a station where we had to be on the floor, on all fours, pick up a barbell and just lift it on and off the floor...and I couldn't. I pitched forward onto my face every time. I lacked the strength to balance on 3 limbs. I spent a good majority of that station crying into the floor mat because I was humiliated, angry, sad, and frustrated. I couldn't get off the floor on my own either; I would crawl to a wall and climb up. A lot of people think that a "boot camp" is for people who are already into fitness, and that's not the case. I have met some of the most supportive and amazing people who are all in different places working on what they need. Wisdom Komori and Gray Arnold have been the most wonderful coaches. They push without being pushy, and support every one of their clients. I'm proud to say that I can get off the floor (multiple times even!), I can do almost every exercise that they throw at me...and if I can't, just wait, because I'll conquer it soon (I see you push plates).
TL:DR...THIS PLACE IS BEYOND AMAZING.
