The fit smart challenge is a major scam. Mark and Hayley don't even work for the gym. The whole thing is super shady. My friend and I were lead to believe we'd be teamed with our own trainer for 3 sessions a week, have access to the gym until 7pm every day without having to purchase a 24 hr access card, and that we were singing up for a program through the gym itself. I was never told that it was some 3rd party thing.
All of a sudden the hours of operation changed to 12pm-5pm without notice. We was unable to gain access to the gym or get any contact to resolve the issue for over a week. When we finally went in person to resolve the issue, we'd had it and wanted to be released from this contract since we signed up under false pretenses and do not think it's fair for us to be locked into a year contract now since we've now, through no fault of our own, defaulted in the terms....
We were then told by the owner Jordan, that he has no control or power to cancel out contracts because it's not through the gym but through a 3rd party. Why is it that the owner of the gym can't cancel the gym membership contract for his own gym. The contract itself says Platinum Fitness - Pleasanton at the top.... Not another company name.... Not to mention the condescending attitude he gave us when we brought our concerns to his attention.
The only good experience we had was with the trainer Jarrad, who was the only helpful person through this whole thing and actually seemed to care about us as human beings, not just as dollar signs.
This whole experience has been ridiculous and I would not recommend this gym or program to anyone. We definitely got conned! If I could give negative stars I would.
