I love the group classes with Melissa. I've been attending for a few years now and always look forward to the fun, exercise and challenge. I feel stronger, more flexible and healthier knowing that I started my day with a workout. Melissa's classes are made for everyone; she adapts each exercise for all the levels represented in class. The 50 minute workouts are the prefect length and include a full body workout with weights, resistance, cardio, etc. Each day is a little different and challenges me in a new way. I actually look forward to working out. Something I never thought I'd make a priority is now something I look forward to and plan on doing for a LONG time! As we age, the importance of movement, flexibility, weight resistance training becomes even more important! Thank you Melissa and Tri Valley trainer for keeping me healthy!

TriValley Trainer is by far the best workout in the Tri-Valley area. I have been a client for several years now, and am in the best shape of my life. Their workouts vary, never get boring, and accommodate all fitness levels and abilities. Plus, the atmosphere is inviting and very personalized. I highly recommend that you give it a try.

2 months ago my shoulders were so messed up my range of motion was practically zero and I wasn't able to sleep well on either side. Dan understood I needed to stretch things out and work on additional muscle groups. Thru a very deliberate process, he's gotten me back to form and helped me understand and incorporate a much better and more balanced exercise regimem! Great Stuff !

For years, exercise was nothing more to me than a necessary evil to better prepare for sports or manage my weight. It was never meant to be fun, and then I met Melissa at TVT! I had never used a personal trainer before last October, but I can't imagine a more positive experience. Her passion for fitness is contagious; this is not an exaggeration. She focuses on my fitness needs and pushes me to limits where I couldn't or wouldn't push myself. But that's just it: she knows I can do it! Every session with Melissa has the perfect balance of variety, challenge and intensity. Any previous reservations I had in the gym have disappeared and my confidence and enthusiasm for exercise has never been greater--all thanks to Melissa. The dedication she has to her clients is unparalleled and I have the results to prove it. I highly recommend Melissa Dickey and TVT for your personal training and coaching needs, regardless of your fitness level!

I've been attending the small group workouts at TVT for a bit over 15 months now. As a fitness backbencher, my prior attempts to exercising have been short lived. I love the group workouts at TVT. Melissa mixes up the workouts. Last week, I realized that the whole set was brand new - every day there's a new variant of an exercise. There are variants to each exercise based on your fitness level as well. Melissa is also very lively, present and funny and makes the class enjoyable. I've also taken a few individual training sessions from Melissa and learned a lot from that.

My fitness has improved significantly and that has allowed me to enjoy biking, hiking and other activities quite immensely.

Dan is amazing. He's the uber fitness geek. I've attended the "lean online" sessions run by Dan and learned tools to manage my diet towards a healthy and balanced diet. Dan pointed out the deficiencies in my vegetarian diet and I started losing weight regularly once diet was changed.

TVT has been a great addition to my life. I eagerly look forward to the 4-5 sessions I have each week. For the first time in my life, I look forward to exercising. That's quite a change.

I highly recommend TVT for folks of all levels of fitness. TVT will change your life!

I have been training with Dan at Tri Valley Trainer for over 6 months and it has been a great experience. I am quite active and have tried many different kinds of training before. Dan's training, however, has been the most effective and efficient and fun. He customizes the training according to my needs and each and every week the exercises are different and thus never get boring. He has a wonderful way to motivate and the atmosphere in the studio is very welcoming. I am very happy to have found them.

I highly recommend this place for your fitness goals. The owner/trainers are very knowledgeable and use thoughtfully-planned exercise sequences to meet your goals in just 45 minutes a day. They pay attention to your form and execution so that you get the best result in less reps, and you learn the tools you need to do the exercises correctly at home, on vacation, etc. I was in the Club High Noon class for 3 months and am now in the morning/evening classes. This gym has a comfortable vibe with nobody yelling at you to do more reps, they actually want you to rest if your heart rate is very high or you feel lightheaded, and they don't play weird dub-step or EDM at intolerable volumes here. It's just relaxed and fun, and that makes it easy to come back several times a week. This may not be a large, fancy gym with a climbing wall, pool and sauna, or lots of fancy equipment, but the focus is on getting to your goals. You can't get onto a treadmill, put your earphones in, and zone out on the TV here; this is a place where whether you are taking a class or getting personal training, you are getting the attention you need to make results happen.

I've been training with Dan for a little over 6 months now. He is extremely professional and down to earth. Dan has an unparalleled ability to make you want to get up in the morning and work out (even at 5:00am!). He continues to show his dedication to my overall health and fitness. Through Dans' training methods and vast knowledge on healthy eating I've lost over 30 pounds on the scale and have added lean muscle. Dan @ Tri Valley Trainer has given me the motivation and skills needed to live a healthy lifestyle.
