I took my first class here back in December of 2010 and was pretty much a fixture at the studio for most of 2011 before I had to move across the country for a whole lot of higher education/my job. Even now, I still pop in whenever I'm back on the west coast to take classes. I've been to maybe 7 different studios around the country (mostly CA and NY) but there is no other studio in the world as welcoming and friendly as this one. When you're here, it's like you're with an incredibly supportive and encouraging family. In the 7-ish years that I've been here, I've taken mostly pole, some silks and lyra, as well as a number of workshops. It's a really fun way to get a workout in, and it's one of the things I miss most when I'm away.
Bel is one of the sweetest and genuine people I've ever known, and her classes are always a lot of fun. She has a background as a personal trainer so safety + building a good foundation is highly emphasized here, and she's able to find variations to work with all skill and age levels. You can also book parties (people have a lot of fun with birthdays/bachelorette parties/other events here!) and "red light specials" ($150 for the hour for up to 10 girls)!
P.S. Please don't put on lotion the day you go because it makes the poles super slippery. Also, wearing shorts would probably be helpful. Skin sticks to the pole better!
