five years going on five years as a member and I have utilized this place and I still have to utilize 80% and I'm like basically I go there every day for 2 and 1/2 to 4 hours a day I mean I love this place you have to come it's the best gym in town come and join the gym
Always a great place to go to work out! It's cheaper than 24 hour fitness and the employees don't bother you about personal training or prices nearly as much. It also doesn't get that crowded either; most people seem to go around 4-6. It also has free fitness classes! My favorite gym for sure.
Nice variety of machines & classes, but constantly plays music that's inappropriate for a workout (as well as often annoying) and has inadequate cooling for warm days.
Great place to workout and get healthy. Lots of different exercise machine, cardio and weights. Clean and I enjoy the environment, motivational to me. Also an indoor pool and basket ball court along with saunas, showers and a hot tub. Month to month isn't a bad price and we'll worth the expense

Great variety of equipment, helpful and friendly staff, and they have a swimming pool and sauna. The music is terrible, though.

We left City Sports for a lot of reasons. The mold in the locker rooms and pool area was excessive and never seemed to be important enough for management to care for, ants were frequently crawling all over the mats, and customer service was almost non-existent .
We finally decided to quit and get a membership at another gym. We closed our account and moved on with life. Turns out they just froze our account, but told me it was closed. They continued to take money from our checking account and when I called them about it, the Operations Manager, Tyler accused me of lying and informed me I was wrong. He offered no help in fixing the situation and I had to spend the next 45 minutes on the phone with the corporate office to get anyone to listen to me.
Overall, I am pretty disappointed with my experience.
Hello. I worked here at City Sports Club as the Janitor and I would have to say it was one of my more enjoyable jobs. Always something to clean and to do. :) The management here is spectacular, Tyler is really sweet and I truly enjoyed him as my manager. One of my favorite managers I've ever had! Also, there's tons of workout equipment here. It's a very enjoyable place to be at with many awesome people. Love all the teachers and the swimming pool too. People are usually very nice and will offer half their lane for you to swim in if it's too crowded. Great atmosphere and a top spot gym. Highly recommend it. :)
First of all, @Andrew, this is a freaking GYM, not a sports bar. If you come to the gym to watch TV, then you're doing something wrong. Not to mention there are little TVs attached to every treadmill, bike and elliptical on the second floor with a wide array of channels. Reported.

Okay, onto my actual review...
I saw the legitimate negative reviews, and from what it looks like, management took notice and did something about the cleanliness issues. In my six months here, I haven't noticed any mold in the pool area or the locker room. Overall the place is pretty clean.
The staff is friendly. In my experience they've been patient and helpful.
There are many options here for a good workout. A small-ish (3 lane) pool, an entire floor of cardio machines, tons of free weights, an entire room of spin bikes, a basketball court, plenty of resistance machines... if you're looking to change up your work out every day of the week, you could definitely do so here.
I pay $50/month for my membership that includes a free guest pass every time I come in, which I think is pretty reasonable! And they include a free session with a personal trainer, but that's pretty standard it seems. I've paid a lot more for a lot less at other gyms.
This is the best gym I've ever joined, hands-down. I like it here, and if you're looking for a a gym to join, I highly recommend their free trial, which is what sold me.
