A must see unlike any other in Palm Desert
Our first visit. Was very pleased with the cleanliness and beauty of the facility. I had my two fur babies groomed. They looked beautiful and seemed very happy there. We will be back. Great work for a fair price in a clean, professional and wonderful facility.
Today 8/15, at 9am I took my small dog in for his usual hair cut. I hadn't heard back from them and it was already 1pm so I called. This is when things went so bad. The owner informed me that my dog had been cut while grooming and that she was going to take him to the vet. I was calm. I understand that accidents happen. I tell her to take him to my vet. She does. I get a call from my vet saying my dog has arrived. I immediately go over (I work down the street).
I was told to have a seat when I arrived.. I noticed the groomer was still there. I heard her on the phone sounding irritated saying "yeah I'm still here, but my carts full, turns out I had to come to Petsmart anyway! Hahaha"
I get called in and she follows. The vet walks into the room and the first thing he says is "well this isn't a fresh wound"
I look at the groomer and she responds "yeah, it happened at TEN O'CLOCK THIS MORNING" I lost it. I asked why I wasn't called immediately? She said "We had the wrong number" I said but I've been there before. Why didn't you check your computer or something? She didn't know what to say.
Turns out they cut a good sized chunk off his left armpit. The vet said that because they used some sort of powder for the bleeding the wound was crusted over and they really had no choice but to let it try to heal. He informed me that he may need surgery to cut the dry edges and stitch him up, and that he'll have extensive scar tissue.
Bottom line is , they cut a good chunk of my dogs skin off while grooming him, powdered the wound to stop the bleeding, waited 3 hrs to inform us about his injury (note, I had to call them because they wrote down the wrong number), and now we have to wait a week to see if our dog will require surgery.
We trusted this place just like anyone else would. But after this incident, I can guarantee we will not return!!!. All we want to do is give you dog owners a heads up. We truly do not want anyone else going through what we went through today.

Went for a meeting, did not get to partake, yet. Facility is gorgeous! Did do the dog groomer, fantastic job! Treated my furbaby like their own.

I completely loved the atmosphere when I got there. Just about anything you need health wise to keep your body healthy. I was impressed. Looking forward to a return visit.

Bb hosted the party for St. Patrick's day they had multiple food booths, booze, bands and DJs and corned beef and cabbage fun time !

All I can say is wow!! You've got to check this spa out... Both for pets and humans. Have not availed myself of their services yet but have attended two terrific events there. The decor is amazing!

Me and my mom had appointments for eyelash extensions with Esmeralda at 11:00. We arrived at 10:30 so we could stop by the cafe and grab a coffee. The nice lady at the front kept trying to get a hold of Esmeralda and I'm not sure what was happening there but she didn't come out until 11:20. At this point we weren't upset but then she got upset with me because I had eyelash extensions on already and I didn't let her know when I made the appointment, which I apologized for, I didn't know that it would be such a big deal. But then she was going on and on about how now it was going to take longer for my appointment and how I should have let her know. So I apologized again. However then she had to complain about how the spa doesn't provide her with any of her stuff for the eyelashes and how she has to bring her own kit from home and she didn't bring her eyelash remover that day. What kind of professional eyelash technician doesn't have remover in their kit? What if she accidentally gets glue somewhere it's not supposed to be? Now I know she is just making up excuses. So we tell her not to worry about it and we left and I was luckily able to go to another place and get my eyelashes removed in under 10 minutes. We were both disappointed and will never come back because of how rude and unprofessional Esmeralda was. I am giving them 2 stars because the front desk ladies were nice and so was the cafe guy.
My dogs and I love Venus de Fido. The cafe has delicious food, the facility is clean and state of the art. The salt cave is so relaxing. The fur kids are crazy for the indoor dog park. Most important, the staff is friendly and reflects customer service at its best!

Grooming, Dog Training, Dog Daycare like no other in the valley, the valleys ONLY indoor quiet dog park, full fitness centers, spa, salt cave, pet friendly cafe, people retail and pet retail shops, piazza for outdoor entertaining, massage, sauna, jacuzzi, high end locker rooms, squash court, and more!
You have to see it to fully understand it!
