Moved to Palm Desert a few months back and as a 20+ year member of 24 Hr. Fitness - found the Indio location a little to far for convenience. Looked at "all" the gyms within 6 miles of where I lived and joined World Gym.
They do a good job with the limited space given - have ample free weights / machines - fitness classes are popular - parking is a breeze - place including locker rooms kept clean - I'd say the members lean towards a more mature group which I qualify - highlight being both the members / staff are friendly & accommodating. Overall a good "workout" gym...

Woodrow was great. Gym was close to the house. Those are honestly the only two good things about this place.
I can't say enough wonderful things about World Gym! My son absolutely loves going and loves the teachers. He has fun and gets great physical activity plus learns teamwork, respect, listening skills, and so much more. I highly recommend trying World Gym if you haven't already!!!

Friendly, clean and a good variety of equipment to work out on. They seem to do a good job of preventative maintenance on the equipment as we very rarely find anything that does not work well. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. We work out before we go to work and really appreciate the clean and spacious bathrooms and showers. The price is right also, we can both go and not break the bank.

I absolutely love this gym! The facility is perfect, the coaches are all amazing and super personable and most of all...they want to see you succeed and meet your goal! They push you that much harder and make sure you're staying safe while doing it. Definitely not an intimidating atmosphere and there are classes for everyone!

I use this facility because it's convenient to my office. I love the timely classes targeted to working people like me who need to get in and out quickly on a lunch break but still get some exercise. All the basics provided in the locker room so i don't need to bring or prepare much. Non-judgmental atmosphere.
A fun and friendly place to meet my fitness goals. Not only has my membership dues been stable for years, the equipment is constantly being updated. The classes are fun and energizing. The best thing about world gym for me is the people. I have met people at the gym that I now consider my dearest friends.
We have been members of world gym since about 2016. We love the club. The owners do such a great job of keeping the equipment and facilities updated. There are so many great class options and great teachers that have also been with world gym for quite a while. It's also very conveniently located. Give it a try.

Great community and great workout. I've been educated about form and processes that have made weightlifting less intimidating and more effective for me. Love it! Highly recommend!
If you want a solid neighborhood gym this is your spot. Everyone in the staff is incredibly warm and helpful, and the facilities are always clean and well kept. If you live in the area, there's no real reason why you should go somewhere else. Amazing place.

This is a neighborhood gym. Not pretentious. Not too busy - ever. I live around the corner and have been here at all times of the day - no waiting. It's clean, bright and open. The staffs are friendly, everything works and there is a wide variety of equipment. While I've not taken advantage of the massage therapist on site - it's a plus. Definitely check them out!

Best gym. Great space, equipment and employees. Have trained with many of the trainers there but mostly with Brittany Wall. Unfortunately I'm in SoCal now and searching for what I had there.
World Gym is a fantastic place to go to get in shape. All the kit is in great condition and the whole team is incredibly professional and friendly. The mix of semi-private and group classes is perfect and they have a wide range of times that makes it pretty flexible as well. Finally, the staffs have managed to create a great community feel in there.
Brittany Wall is an amazing trainer. I've been working with her consistently for almost a year now. The results have been dramatic. She pushes me to achieve my highest potential and keeps me motivated. Most important to me, she makes sure that I am always safe while working out by keeping my form correct. Her attitude is always positive and she brings the energy to every session.
Started private training sessions with Brittany Wall, best trainer ever! Results are quick and amazing. Hard work goes into it but she keeps you motivated. She has an upbeat attitude and knows what workout is best for you. Love her!!!!

Always clean. Great relatively new machines. Never over crowded in the AM. Seniors can use their Medicare Silver Sneakers benefit.
The staff here is so amazing great management team, Michael was very nice over the phone! Clean and nice gym .. the bathrooms are very clean which was spectacular.
I really enjoyed the rockfit class. I found the membership rates reasonable and the 24/7 option is a plus too, in palm desert there isn't too many options and this one fits the budget and isn't far from my home.
Clean gym, nice and cool which is especially nice during the summer. Workout equipment all state of the art. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciated the new equipment especially the spin bikes. The personal trainers and the manager were very professional and accommodating.

Absolutely a fantastic gym. Just joined 2 months ago and the staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Their trainers are for real , got a complementary class with a trainer and ended up signing for a few sessions.
The place is very clean and has all the necessary equipment for all your work out needs. Great job guys
WORST GYM EVER. They had a wonderful yoga instructor who they proceeded to fire after a few complaints. Meanwhile, everyone else loves him. In fact, we brought over about 6 people to join the gym specifically for his yoga class. HOWEVER, this was not the problem. Once we called to express our concerns over the firing, the owner began to get hostile and yell at us over the phone and told us we were not welcomed back. Very disappointed in th service. we feel that if some customers are allowed to express their disapproval for a particular instructor, than we should have been given the same respect to express our approval for that instructor and all customer opinions should have been taken into consideration. The owner should have never spoken to us that way and we are sharing this so you know that this is how you will be treated if you choose to join this gym.

I was a member here for 3 years, and had to cancel because they discontinued childcare. It's a clean facility with disinfectant spray and paper towels readily available for members to use before & after using machines. There are lots of machines, so I never had to wait to use one. The classes I enjoyed were Piyo, yoga, spin, and body pump. They weren't over crowded and the instructors were helpful in directing form, etc.
I know most people there and I haven't had one bad experience. The people who wrote negative reviews obviously don't care about fitness since World Gym PD has every machine and weight you could possibly want, always in good condition or quickly fixed.
Make sure you make an appointment if you want to cancel your membership because the management is very rude when you try and leave. This place needs new workers. Worst customer service. The vibe is horrible here. It's sad because this gym could be amazing if it was ran better and customers were treated the way they should be. Waste of a business that could be great.

Me and my boyfriend entered a raffle for a free month access to the gym. I got a phone call that I won, so me and my bf went to check it out. They extended the offer to my bf, and had us sign a couple papers. We were told we would be charged 40 bucks, and refunded the money at the end of the "free" month.
One of papers they have you sign states you must utilize the club 3 times each consecutive 7 days. I immediately didn't sign; I told the employee that I am not sure if I will be there 3 days a week. He told me he would check in/sign in for me so I would be sure to get my refund.
Well, I suppose I didn't know that what the employee offered to do was not how they operate. 10 days later I called asking to cancel my free month (the gym is over 35 min away from me). There was confusion. They told me they'd call back. I called 3 more times, then finally 16 days later after the whole ordeal, they let me know that employee had made a negotiation that was not under their rules and would not be given to me.
Long story short, I didn't get my $40 bucks back. Worst raffle ever. Save your cash. Go to a gym that doesn't take 3 phone calls and 2 visits to cancel.
Don't get scammed. Don't sign up for any contract.
Very friendly Staff. Available at anytime to help you with any type of questions..The staff smiles and looks directly at you. Love coming here. My instructor, Bonnie Cole for our Sr. Exercise class is THE GREATEST!! Plays songs from the past..exercises with us...has a great sense of humor. Has control of the class and mostly takes a personal interest in you and how you are doing. Your limits and just full of smiles. The classes really enjoy Bonnie. SHE MAKES THE CLASS. and We WANT TO BE THERE. It's Fun!!
