No ordinary jiu-jitsu academy. Professor Jerbo and the rest of Team Braga have become like a second family. It's been five years so far, and my two kids can't imagine training anywhere else or with anyone else. I can't thank Jerbo and the rest of the Team enough. Not only for furthering their jitz game, but for helping them become better people. Now at a bigger better location, Wander Braga BJJ team will grow as well. Oss!

Stared 3 weeks ago with by teenage sons. We love it. My oldest is autistic (high functioning), he does the Muay Thai class and fits right in. Me and my 13 yr old do the BJJ class. If we are struggling with something, the more experienced step in to help.
I never feel out of place, they make you feel like family.

One of the best places to learn martial arts. I recommend this place to people who actually want to know how to defend yourself.

I've been training here for three years and I have seen nothing short from professionalism, welcoming hearts and a passionate atmosphere.
Ive been to a couple of other BJJ/MMA prior to signing up at Upland MMA. I basically walked in and ask if I can try out their BJJ class. Free no Cost! Professor Jerbo Narney gave me the OK! Follow day I grabbed my Gi and gave this MMA gym a shot. Coming that I came from another gym that didn't use the Gi grip techniques as much, it's was a major difference. They also have No-Gi WED and OPEN SAT. Which is freaking awesome! I was originally a no-Gi players, but now I'm falling in love with Gi Grip too. Training consisted of moderate-intensity cardio warmups, then techniques/drill, then live roll. Lots of colored belts to help sharpen your game up. Not to mention, 3 black belts teaching here. Everyone is friendly and very helpful.
The gym hours works well with my schedule M-Thur 6:30pm-8pm. Women only on Fridays. Highly recommend Upland MMA. OSS!
My second home and extended family. Excellent instruction and vibe, take one class and you'll be hooked
Upland MMA offers a a friendly atmosphere, with awesome classes for kids and adults. Professors and coach go through every technique step by step. They have no problem helping out a student individually. They offer the best prices around with no additional fees like other bjj schools, If anyone asked me where they could learn some great Jiu Jitsu, would be where I'd point them to Upland MMA.

I enrolled my son before the summer here and it has been a great experience for him. The instructors are vary patient, fair and professional. The atmosphere is very welcoming and it feels like we've known them longer than 6-7 months.
