Recently, I tore my ACL playing tennis and rehabbed it through physical therapy. My physical therapist also recommended Pilates after finishing therapy. When I asked around my neighborhood, several people recommended Bourne Pilates so I went in and took advantage of a new client rates deal they were offering. My private sessions were with April who I found to be very knowledgeable regarding my injury and how to overcome it. The space was beautiful and fully equipped. I always leave feeling energized from the progress I've made.
Totally wasted my time on my day off driving to the studio to try to check it out business hours says it was open no one answers the phone and of course nobody's there during business hours that would just be silly right?
Julia is an excellent pilates instructor! I take a group class (four people) and she is so skilled that she knows exactly how to accommodate each of our little ailments (weak knees, back, etc.). We get an excellent work out in a wonderful environment! The work out is always challenging but safe. My agility, balance, posture, and overall stamina has greatly improved since working with Julia.
On my initial contact with Julia she was pleasant and informative, the web site offers consistant information with what Julia shared in our conversation, I wanted to try a class right away and did on Wednesday, I am a beginner this was my first pilates experience and I am looking forward to going back next week for two classes, my workout was challenging but doable and encouraging. The studio is a clean welcoming environment in a peaceful area and my instuctor Krystal is very clear on her instructions, corrections and encouragment. Both Julia and Krystal have great personalities it was a pleasure to be in their company. I encourage you to visit Bourne Pilates!
