Dan is one the best trainers in Alameda/East Bay. I'm currently enrolled in both the kettle bell club + semi-private training. The kettle bell club is one of the best kept secrets in East Bay. Awesome price / tough workouts / great space. Working with kettle bells not just made me stronger but helps improve running, biking, and sports. I could really tell the difference just a month in. Best part is that Dan mixes in a bunch of different workouts - never had a boring workout yet.

My original plan with Dan was to train with him for 3 months, then be done. Well it has now been a year, and we are still working out together with no plans to stop. One of the things I like the most is that he is constantly teaching me new exercises. Your body will stop responding if you keep doing the same thing, so its important to find new ways to challenge it. Dan knows every kettle-bell exercise known to man, and a bunch of other ones with barbells or even with no weights at all. Dan is great at knowing how to push me to my limits. I've seen great results in the past year. Looking forward to the new studio!

Dan Piper is a fantastic trainer and an awesome guy! I have been working out with Dan for almost a year and it has been one of the best decisions i've made. When I started with Dan last March, my back was badly curved. I had spent many years hunched over a desk working all day with limited exercise. Even a relatively short walk would result in significant discomfort.

Dan worked closely with me to help straighten my back and significantly enhance my flexibility and strength. He even created some unique exercises to address my problems. After six or seven months, my back was dramatically improved. I began to stand straighter, appear taller and feel great. Dan then began to place additional emphasis on building strength, while maintaining a strong focus on posture and flexibility. My workouts are always challenging and never repetitive or tedious. I feel the best I've felt in 30 years.

In addition to his own skills, Dan has built an excellent network of physiotherapists, massage therapists and other specialists that he utilizes when needed to ensure his clients get maximum results and stay. I recommend Dan highly to anyone looking for a top notch trainer. He is completed committed to his profession and his athletes and will go the extra mile for you.

I've worked with Dan for over a year and a half and have not only recovered from a chronic back problem, but have been able to completely change my physique through his guidance. He is tireless in his efforts to bring the best information and techniques to his clients and has a method that ensures you can train consistently over a long period of time.

Dan is super-knowledgable but always learning more about effective exercise. If you want a trainer who is excited about cutting-edge sports science and who takes the time to share it with you, he's your man.

My sessions have been a combination of FMS-style work to get my body aligned, kettlebells, and free weights. He's able to tailor the sessions to my goals while keeping an eye out for issues that I wouldn't be aware of training myself.

Over the past two years, I've seeing great results, including putting on 20 lbs. of muscle. See for yourself.

Dan always provides a great workout. But he really provides a lot more than that. He provides personal motivation and encourages commitment. He always makes me feel like I can do it, not just the minimum but a little bit more than I think I can. I like that Dan stays up-to-date on continuous learning about fitness, business, psychology and nutrition.
