Great workout! Good balance of challenging and restorative poses, all instructors are super helpful and offer assistance and support throughout each session. All classes I have taken have a great flow, good tunes, and good vibes.
I recently decided to give yoga a try and found Left Coast Power Yoga fairly close to my office. They offer noon sessions which fits great into my busy schedule. The Uptown location is clean and all the instructors I've had so far seems very genuine. I always leave the studio feeling great and less stress!

I love Left Coast! Uptown is newer and has great amenities, including showers!! I can come to the early morning classes and then head to work no problem. The space is intimate and welcoming. I have never been to a studio that was more community oriented than here. The teachers are so friendly and fun and you always see your friends in class. I am so glad I found this place!

I'm grateful to be a part of this rad community of yogis. The vibe is always so good at Left Coast! New teacher Brandon Osborne is a great addition to the team. Challenging and creative sequences that are still totally accessible and fun!

Amazing teachers, amazing flow, and amazing community. Favorite way to round off my work week! Everyone is incredibly helpful and welcoming, and its one of the few yoga classes where I feel that it's ok to be at any level of experience.
My yoga home in Oakland! The perfect place for your first yoga class ever or your 10,000th. I love that this studio makes you feel safe and welcome no matter your level, and that they really focus on building a community. I've never left feeling like the teacher didn't care that I was there, which is such a common experience in the yoga studio world.

When I got my yoga on at Left Coast, it had been years since I'd had yoga. Dealing with physical issues related to be repeatedly displaced, some of even the easiest positions were too painful. The teacher didn't try to push me past the point of my thresholds. I didn't even have to mention my concerns until after the wonderfully inclusive class'

I love both locations - they make it so easy to go do yoga. Great authentic studio, good vibe, lots of variety to fit your needs. Go LCPY!
Great heated studio, wide range of teachers. Challenging (in a good way) classes but best of all is the excellent schedule and class offerings! I love that they offer daily noon classes and now a daily 10:30am. I would happily give 5 stars, but once in a while the Grand Lake studio is a bit too crowded but then there is always Uptown!
I absolutely love this yoga studio. I have tried yoga at various points in my life, but I never found a studio and instructors that "stuck" until Left Coast. All the instructors are fantastic, particularly Sarah Kate. I always feel supported in my practice and having this studio makes me excited to do yoga. Very grateful for Left Coast!
Left Coast Power Yoga is my favorite! I practiced yoga religiously in San Francisco, then had a few kids and moved to the East Bay. I've reconnected with my practice and am overjoyed to have found this studio. Every teacher/class I have gone to has been great (I'm picky, this says a lot about the studio) and I love that the majority of classes are 1 hr, so I can be in and out and back to work or my family. Highly recommended for newbies and experienced yoga folks.
Really wonderful classes with consistent, knowledgeable, and friendly teachers. Classes work for a variety of practice levels from beginner to advanced. Class packages make coming more affordable and provide a way to commit to coming by paying for classes in advance. I always enjoy coming here!
I moved to the area not that long ago, and hadn't taken a yoga class in years. So I figured I'd walk to this neighborhood spot. After one class, I was hooked. I've never felt as amazing as I do leaving their classes. I love that the room is heated enough for me to really break a sweat, and feel a mixture of serenity and strength when I leave. Safe to say, I'm a yogi again!
It took me a long time to replace the studio I fell in love with in the last city I lived in. I tried many placed in Oakland and Berkeley before I found Left Coast Power Yoga. I love it so much because each teacher brings a unique, but experienced practice to the table. It's small and intimate, but mighty! You won't regret spending your time and money here.
I've been going to Left Coast for 3+ years and love it! All the teachers are great and they have classes at ideal times.
When I moved to CA, it took me a while to find a yoga studio that fit my style and needs. So, so happy to have found Left Coast - they have just the right blend of restorative and challenging yoga for me. All the teachers are lovely and have offered helpful corrections to prevent injury.
Took Judy's class a couple of Saturdays ago and I felt really challenged. I'll be going back to take her class again!
Julia's classes are great also.
As for the location and business - I did not have any issues with finding street parking most likely because it was early in the morning. The studio is nice and clean and I like the mirrors as it helps me when I need to check my body for adjustments when you're doing certain poses. I believe there's a shower room also!
