I give one star not because of their equipments and classes but about the lack of training of SOME front desk staffs. I had been asked to wait couple times at check-in desk without notifying me why and sometimes they would ask questions like "did you pay the fee?" Of course I always pay on time so it made me feeling bad.
Today, same thing happen, we were hold after my husband's card scanned, the woman there saying nothing, I heard the black guy next to her asked her why; but when my husband asked her what happened, she turned the computer screen facing us and said "look, I am waiting for the computer loading your account" Actually, I am ok to wait because sometime it happens with the same reason. But I don't feel comfortable with her tone of voice and attitude. Seems saying why you ask, don't bother, I am doing my job, and this is not my problem, SEE? It is the gym's environment and the compratively new equipments, which are the reasons keeping me here, but I strongly suggest them to strengthen the new staff training in how to communicate in work place, especially with customers.
