Jojo had successfully treated me for my unexplained back pain. My primary doctors cannot do anything. After seeing Jojo for 7 sessions, my back was healed and I can do my regular and sport activities again. Jojo was a professional, knowledgeable and a gifted Physical Therapist. She was always able to pinpoint the exact location to be worked on. She listens carefully and she also promptly revises my exercises until it is spot on. Jojo is attentive to you while you are doing your exercises to make sure that you are doing it correctly and it is encouraging throughout. She has helped me a lot and I am thankful for this. In addition, the front desk staff have always been very helpful whenever I have had any questions. I find Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin- Novato to be a welcoming provider and it is always clean and I really like that. Thank you.

No one ever wants to go to physical therapy - it means something is wrong. BUT - if you have to go, I highly recommend Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin in Novato. My PT Jessica McLain was amazing -- knowledgeable and so caring. I actually didn't want my sessions to end! Five stars for sure

I dealt with ACL rehabilitation for a number of months at Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin in Novato, and was extremely happy with the results. I transferred here from another PT clinic which was far inferior compared to Sport and Spine. Everyone from the Receptionists to the Trainers themselves are exceedingly friendly and gregarious towards their clients. The facility is spacious, and has an inviting feel about the space. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new Physical Therapy clinic.

Entire staff is very professional. First, the front desk helped with a schedule that worked for me. Then Ole determined my therapy program and how it should progress. The therapist then guide you through your program during each visit. I got the desired results and proper instruction for home therapy. I highly recommend and would go back without hesitation if ever necessary.

Josh is fantastic. I went to him with a severe brain injury after a hiking accident. I showed up with very intense challenges and limitations. His kindness as well as his expertise have been incredibly supportive. He met me right where I was each time I showed up and always went the extra mile to provide me the best care possible. He spent time communicating with the other practiotioners treating my injuries and was a truly valuable part of my team. One year later I'm doing great.

The place is amazing! From day 1 I knew I was in good hands. They care and make sure you understand what they are showing you. Kevin and Scott and all the other trainers made you work, I always left knowing I just learned more then when I came in. I feel 100% better then when I started.

Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin exceeded our expectations for my sons physical therapy required for an arm injury (pitching). Lisa and the other therapists were very thorough and professional throughout the 3 months of rehab. I strongly recommend them.

Josh and his team carefully analyzed my problem and commenced treatments which began to show some positive results. Regrettably had an accident which required a pause. I will resume as soon as possible. I am very impressed with all aspects of Sport & Spine.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Every day was a delight. I came in distraught and down from my surgeries. Kristina made me feel comfortable and together we set goals to get where I needed to be at a functional level. I am happy where I am after our PT sessions but sad that I don't get to see her warm smile every day. A true delight. I recommend her 100% and confident she will do the same for you.

I have enjoyed the rehab there and feel I have been in good hands. Bryce, his assistant was excellent in helping me do the exercises. The whole team was supportive encouraging and very friendly. Josh,at Sport and Spine is extremely knowledgeable and utilizes everything he has learned and experienced as a Physical Therapist to make you better. He goes beyond the call of duty and never uses an excuse as why he cannot treat you. He is t an amazing professional.

After having broken my shoulder (slipped on wet grass) while in the Caribbean over Christmas / New Years vacation. We had to cut our vacation short... Return to Santa Rosa and find a Surgeon.
My surgery about 8 days after our return home was pretty radical and life changing for me... I'm Right Handed, sleep on my right side and barely use my left hand except when a task needs 2 hands.
Because the damage to my shoulder from my fall was so severe... a metal plate with 12 screws was used to put the broken bones back together... My life became a nightmare.
Simple tasks; brushing my teeth, washing my face, combing my hair, showering, eating, getting dressed, pulling up my pants after going to the bathroom were nearly impossible. Therapy started a few months after the surgery.
With the patience and understanding and care
I received at Sport and Spine Therapy in Novato and my main therapist Kevin Wild...
My healing and recovery has been slow and steady... Today, I am able to raise my right arm, sleep on my right side and have a fully functional arm back.
Thank you Ole Bergesen for the additional strength exercises, they have made a great difference to my healing...
Thank you Scott Johnson for your attention to the Scare Tissue that has grown over the metal plate on my broken shoulder. Your hands are quite the tool... You have enabled me to have fuller range of motion and reach.

Physical therapist Kristina Svenson-Brown made a huge difference in my recovering from a broken wrist. After the bone healed up nicely I had no idea how weakened my wrist would yet be...with little mobility without feeling pain. I made rapid strides with her careful treatments and prescribed exercises for each hour I came in for therapy. I remembered optioning not to receive physical therapy for a fracture in my shoulder several years ago and it took way too long to recover fully on my own. I am so glad I received these physical therapy sessions, as I am certain it would have taken many more months to get the same results assuming I could even get the same results on my own. I continue to do some of the stretches and lift light weights in the manner she and her very capable young Assistant, Marianne taught me.

Fantastic place for healing! Had physiotherapy with Josh Madonick and with his skill I was able to heal my misaligned left hip in three treatments. Highly recommended Sport and Spine Therapy and in particular Josh.

Had MCL pain/injury for a over a year. After many failed attempts to work it out on my own, my doctor referred me to Sport & Spine Therapy. I did an evaluation session and 10 follow up sessions with Scott. With a combination of therapy and strength training, the pain is gone and my mobility is even better than before my injury. I had great experience with the staff and crews too.

I've been going to Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin for over 10 years! They have seen me through 4 thumb surgeries, 2 shoulder surgeries, ankle reconstruction and knee replacement surgery! They are always professional and 100% committed to your recovery. Their therapist take their time getting to know you and finding the best therapy to aid you in your recovery. The front desk is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile when I've issues with my insurance. When anyone asks me where I go for PT I always recommend Sport and Spine Therapy of Marin. I wouldn't think of going any where else.
