Very expensive, became a money machine, I understand it's a business but they started packing kids in to classes so the one on one attention stopped. A lot of the kids' techniques were sloppy due to lack of instructor attention. Very ambitious owner, almost too ambitious to keep a family/attentive feeling.

I signed up for the six week kickboxing challenge to get my butt back into gear! The staff are very encouraging and helpful. I truly feel that the staff want every single person to succeed in their journeys, whether it be in weight loss, maintenance, or just in life! Try it, you'll like it!

Our experience with Moore's Karate and Bryce is truly a family experience that spans 10 years. In a way, I've watched this program grow up into what we see now. My son began taking karate from Bryce before they really had a kid program. Bryce has always been a person my son looks up to, and I appreciate all the care and concern he's shown for my son over the years.
Now my daughter is taking karate here! The staff has been amazing helping her learn to focus and work hard, as well as learning the karate skills needed for her belt!
Then I started taking the mom's kickboxing class!
I might be slightly biased, since Bryce and the staff at Moore's are basically family, but they wouldn't be family if we hadn't loved everything about Moore's so much that we've spent 10 years and counting there!

Awesome place to take your children to learn the proper techniques for karate! The staff are very welcoming and professional. They handle the children very well and makes sure all of the kids feel included. They also go over topics such as bullying, proper self-care, and compassion with the kids. The children get a well rounded experience when they are there training. Also the owner is very professional and greets all of the parents when he gets a moment! Love this place!

Bryce and the team at Moores are on a mission to change lives! The community and attention given to athletes and their success set them apart. This is not place to just workout, this a place to completely change your lifestyle for the better!

I have been to many fitness facilities over the years, but this place stands head and shoulders above your average gym. I was impressed by the trainers knowledge, and high level of professionalism. They will make sure that you get great results while minimizing the risk of injury by being attentive to detail, and by modifying exercises when necessary. I strongly recommend this facility!

My son was so shy his first day that he cried. Mr. Bryce came over and told him it was ok to be scared/nervous and let him watch for a while and participate when he felt comfortable. He was very reassuring and understanding. The whole staff is supportive and encouraging to each individual student. They sit and take time to understand each students strength and weakness and not just collect a check. I highly recommend Moore's Karate!

Moore's karate to me has been a blessing for my family. My son has learned to be confident with himself and his abilities to defend himself. He started the karate program 2 years ago being bullied by other kids and not standing up for himself in any way. He has finally built up enough courage and confident (finally) that the bully leaves him alone at school. I have also joined Moore's karate for my own personal growth in Martial arts and as an instructor. I could not be more please with how welcoming all the instructors and families are here at Moore's!! I highly recommend the academy to any parent looking for a way to help their child grow and learn how to protect themselves. It certainly takes a village to raise children and Moore's 9th street has a great community of wonderful people.

Open house yesterday at Michael's school his teacher said he is one of the best & most well behaved student she's had.... proud mom moment. Karate was the best decision I made for him last year. I want to thank you so much for all you do for my son & all the children in your classes

The class last night was amazing, Mrs. T and Zack, I loved the way Mrs T had the kids focus, she has the look at her before starting a new round. Talked a little about respecting each other and space. Also Zack had 1/2 the kids & before starting the game he had them sit and be statues, crisscross apple sauce. It help Sean stay more focus and the others too. What they did at last night 530 Class work. Wow, What a difference in all the kids..keep it up! I also ask Sean to sit by different people each week to get to know others in the class. Maybe switch the kids up in class, so they can get to know each other.

Moore's Karate has helped my son in many ways. He has become more discipline. Might seem irrelevant but some how it has been helping him build his character at such a young age. He has maintained his room clean, clothe neatly folded in his droors and shoes neatly organized. He gets home and neatly folds his karate uniform all by himself. Believe me when I say he didn't do this before. It has also helped him speak up around other kids specially when they try to push him around (he is shorter than your average 5 year old).
Highly recommended!!

My son has been apart of Moore's karate for over a year. It's been amazing to watch his growth. Bryce has been great at not only providing a nurturing environment for learning but a community of compassionate students and parents. I feel like my son has gained a great deal of confidence and skill that helps him in everyday life. Moore's supports the students in developing karate skills and a healthy lifestyle; mentally and physically. Bryce is always available to help his students and parents with anything from tying a belt for the 100th time to helping them with emotional or behavioral issues. I recommended Moore's karate to anyone looking to put their kid into martial arts.

Moore's Karate is great! Bryce is very welcoming! The teachers Make the kids feel like they've been there since day one! my daughter has learned so much about having a positive mindset and how to stand up to bullies. Her confidence is through the roof!

We decided to give Moore's a try after moving to the area. It was highly rated and had a great offer to test out how compatible it would be with our son. We were sold the first week! The atmosphere is great, full of positive people and supportive, friendly parents. Even though karate is a personal practice (everyone is on their own journey!) Bryce has done an awesome job of creating a team among the kids. He's a wonderful instructor and the kids obviously love and respect him for it, making it easy to feel part of the Moore's family. My son looks forward to class and loves practicing at home. We appreciate that they work in integrity lessons and encourage the kids to be kind but firm with their bodies and words. We will be here for years to come and will sign up our younger child when she is ready!

This place is awesome. It definitely builds a child's confidence. I really recommend it. It's twice weekly and not expensive. The children seem to love it. Karate is the way to go. It's self defence and intelligence as well. They learn of compassion or other key words to success. You won't regret it

I cannot say enough about how awesome this place is. Bryce and his team work so amazingly well with my son. My son is 4 and can have a hard time staying focused. The team uses positive discipline strategies to keep him and other children on task. I highly recommend this Karate school if you are looking. Moore's Karate on 9th street is a positive environment and my son looks forward to going to class.

Bryce and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. They understand every child is different and what works for one child doesn't necessarily work for the next. Each child works at there own pace. My daughter sat on the mat and did not participate for the first half of her first class. They were patient and understanding. By the end of her first class she was counting how many days until she got to come back.If you are thinking about signing up your kids for Karate I highly recommend Moores Karate on 9th St
