This is the box all other boxes should aspire to be. If you're an athlete looking for a solid WOD, supportive members and knowledgeable trainers, look no further. If you're worried about "Crossfit" because you've read horror stories online, or your family and friends (know it alls) all told you Crossfit would injure you, but you still want to try, this is the place for you. The trainers are there to help you push yourself while maintaining proper form and safety at all times. They will help YOU meet YOUR goals, but you'll be doing the lifting.
I've been coming to Pendulum since August 2017, and they welcomed me with open arms. I've done weight training for 10+ years now, but I'd noticed my strength was good, but my stiffness and mobility was becoming restricted, even with an active job such as mine. After just a few months at Pendulum, I feel great. Drew, George, Jenn and Dario are always supportive and pushing you to achieve more. Even when you're a crumpled heap on the floor, fighting for breath, they'll encourage you to keep moving.
The facility keeps expanding, new faces keep arriving every week, and the competitive spirit is alive and well. I can't think of too many "101" Crossfitters who complete the 101 classes and don't enroll in a full membership. My son comes with me all the time, and there's a small play room for children.
You'll be happy here, and find yourself reaching and exceeding new goals every week. Best of all, the trainers and other athletes will watch you closely to make sure you're doing not "the most weight" but rather the movement the most right.
