I recently moved to the City of Alhambra therefore going to LA Fitness in Glendale wouldn't work for me. I have been coming to this gym for the past 2 months. I love that is convenient very close to my new place but I have to say this gym is by far the dirtiest gym I've been to. I don't ever see any janitorial workers on floor cleaning any of the machines, the machines always look that they've never been wiped. I don't see any janitorial workers vacuuming the areas, wiping the mirrors, trash is always over the top. The restroom floor is always wet & smelly. They don't even have a Sauna room (thumbs down)
Good environment and the manager Andy is very helpful. It has an outdoor pool that is always clean , it is the only one that has steam room. Definitely the best.
This la fitness is quite old, but I enjoy coming here early in the mornings to use the tread mill to walk. Getting older I realize I still need to exercise. I enjoy the friendly staff here .
This particular gym can be a hit and miss, sometimes it's clean and when it's dirty, it is severely dirty, the equipment they have is just what I need, no complain there, the best part of this gym is the day care, my daughter seems way more happier than me when we leave. Not a bad gym at all but there is way better down the street.

Great atmosphere, sufficient machines to get your best workout, superb trainig guys.
This is the LA fitness I go to most frequently. I haven't had hard time accsseing the equipments even during busy hours at evening. They provide classes til late night (later than other LA fitness) and the space usually doesn't get too crowded. Although the floor of the woman restroom is wet, which requires some cautions, I feel their staff are cleaning and refilling papers constantly, which is helpful!
The LA Fitness on Fremont. The pool is dirty, they took clock in woman's changing room and the sauna has never been fixed already awhile.

Not bad. Steam room always under maintenance and when machines are broken it takes a little too long for them to get fixed. Weeks or months

I would love this gym except the men's bathroom has a bad stall door and the floor is always wet (I blame the wet floor on the gross people that drip all over it instead of toweling off). The temperature by the cardio machines is always super hot, please cool it down with AC or get some powerful fans!

Plenty of weight machines to sit at while you use your iphone to text your friends for 15 minutes. Signs to ask people to NOT sit at the machines while texting would be nice ! Very frustrating
This is probably one of the worse LA fitness' I have been to. The whole space is really odd. The weight lifting area makes me claustrophobic and there is never anything available. People are inconsiderate of their surroundings and it is just a mess.
All of men's facilities were all disgusting. Restrooms showers lockers were all dirty with tradh everywhere.
Good gym for working out. Plenty of machines.
Nice clean place with a good variety of machines and weights to help you get fit.

Interesting setup. Machines well maintained. Locker room dirty and in need of renovation. Most faucets don't work.
This is one of the older gems of LA Fitness for the area. But it does have everything that you would want LA Fitness. Even though you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at the front of it does have a basketball court as well as the studio on for classes. It does have something unique in the fact that it does have a outdoor swimming pool which is nice to have. The gyms always smell like chlorine but it's to be expected but luckily it's not as bad as some of the other locations given that the pool is outdoors. The staff is always nice but some of the equipment is on the other side compared to some of the newer gyms out
It's got a basketball court, it's all I need. Plus Andy out front is always helpful.
A complete place for a gym. The place is clean and the pool is also clean. Although I never do workouts there, but I did a tour visit before finally deciding not to join there for my personal reasons. In general, it's a good gym. Hoping to have a longer opening hours so that I can fit in. :)
They have what you need. However the stair way and elevator smell like urine. And it's been like that since I joined. Also the crowd there walks around in the locker room with no attempt at modesty. Little Asian dudes just walking around dripping wet from the sauna or pool letting it all sag out.
Sales people very aggressive in selling but no follow up at all. Terrible service. I love the location but very reluctant to join here. Great facility but poor service. Will have to make a choice soon anyways.
Plenty of equipments, multiple levels and wide space, good place to workout.
A good gym for the price. It's also a little run down but I don't mind since I just have quick workouts. Bathrooms/locker rooms and equipment could also have a small update too...
