I've never felt the need to write a negative review about a business until now. The customer service that my boyfriend and I received at Stride was appalling.
We decided to join our friends and try a new gym. This turned out to be the WORST customer service that we had received. We received a text/email confirming our booking, with instructions to check in at the front desk. No mention was made in either text or email about having to get there at least 15 minutes early. We drove for 45 minutes, at peak rush hour and managed to arrive at 5:25 -which should have left us a margin to check in. Once we arrived, we were told that we couldn't join the class because were late (?). We tried explaining that we hadn't received instructions, but we were denied access to the gym. The attitude of the staff was rude, if not condescending, where at least they could have shown sympathy. Nobody apologized for the lack of communication on their part. In the end, if we had known we would have simply tried to be there earlier -it's as simple as that. It was a huge waste of time. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
