Wanted to take a moment to give Checkmat Connect a big thank you for making my experience with them a great one. Becker, Matheus, Isaiah are all awesome people both inside and out. Not only are they technical on teaching the art but make it fun in the process.

Got the opportunity to train and roll with my niece. Training with a group of BJJ afficionados was just the cherry on top. This is definitely a legit school that takes their training seriously and yet has fun while training. Their instructors are first class and are open to teach you and partner you up according to experience. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to train with you guys and my niece.

Only train here for a short time, and professor Becker is great at teaching you from the fundamental basics to advancing you bjj game. Overall, great gym, great students, and great coach.

Only been visiting the academy. Professor Gustavo Carpio's technical level is impressive, and so is the amazingly beautiful dojo. Friendly students and good atmosphere, quite impressive.

You've tried the rest now come try the best! Hands down the best training environment in the area. The professor teaches all levels in a very professional and humble way. His classes are focused on technique and improvement each and every day. I have gotten so much better after training here for just three months! Great school if you want to compete, start something new in your life or get more fit than you have ever been. There are kids classes everyday and lots of classes available to fit your schedule. The Connect family will welcome you with great people to roll with and everything you have been looking for in a gym!
