The treadmills need to be updated to new ones with number pads to make it easier to change speeds. Also, this needs a real water filtered fountain.

Great staff great environment for a judge free place. The regulars are nice and helpful. I go around midnight machines always available.

For 10 dollars a month, it's decent. Good for cardio but not so much for heavy weights and and building size. Just to get ripped and lose weight this is the gym for you.

Awesome place with great staff!

4 squat racks vs only 2 at the Huntington Park location makes a big difference. If your a serious beginner then this place is an affordable starter gym before you graduate to a more serious free weight gym. However you'd be surprised some buff/fit people make it work for them but in my opinion getting towards a free weight gym is best for your body in the end.

It's a bit narrow and there aren't many weight machines but if your looking to slim down through cardio you can always find a treadmill or ellliptical available.

Everytime I come to this location, equipment is always not working... Some of them have been like that for months (like that abs crunch machine).
I've personally notified the guys at front desk, but seems they're not passing the message to the right person, they're more busy talking about personal stuff or flirting with clients.

This gym is amazing.. It's huge and has everything you could ask for equipment wise.. It's a super relaxed environment with super friendly and helpful staff plus a yummy protein shake bar as well.. I recommended a "velvet Elvis" shake. Also has plenty of golds Hollywood merch for gold gym lovers.. It's only a short walk from the main Hollywood Blvd strip area.

I almost went straight one month. The women restroom is always smelling funky and showers most of the time felled with hair. I use to go there occasionally however I recently stop because of the workers have a rude attitude I guess because I have tattoos on my face or they just don't enjoy their job. Probably two employees have been friendly.

A great place to go work out the place where people like you want to get in shape eat healthy and have a better lifestyle. The staff members are super friendly and helpful they always recommend that you clean the product after usage that way it doesn't causes any health hazards like getting another person sick for example. The rates are super cheap you could always bring a guest when you get a membership the only thing it's limited to is there's no pool so if you're not a swimmer love to work out this is a great place to go because of the fact that it's so cheap and inexpensive. Have fun working out

The staff always greet you, and when you leave they always say thank you. I come in and do my work out no problem. I like watching the food channel while using the treadmill. There have been a few times where Im figuring out how to work a machine and strangers help me out which is really nice.

I LOVED IT, STAFF IS PRETTY GOOD AT HELPING YOU WITH ALL YOUR NEEDS. ITS ALWAYS BEEN CLEAN THE TIMES IVED BEEN THEIR.ONLY THING THAT WOULD BE BETTER , IF THEY GAVE FRUITS INSTEAD OF PIZZA. THAT WOULD PROMOTE HEALTHY EATING. OVERALL ITS A GREAT GYM.

I am able to gain good workouts, but many of the machines are out of order. This location has atleast six machines that paying guest may not use because of damage. It's been like this for serveral of month now. That is why I rate South Gate Planet Fitness two stars

Fairly small but that's never a bad thing. The machines and restrooms are always clean. The attendees are never rude/judgmental. The staff is overall friendly depending on their mood, I guess. The personal trainer is awesome. He's very informative and takes your time with you.

I've never had an issue with this establishment. There's always a machine available for me at the times I go. Staff is generally friendly. Over all I've had a good experience at this gym. I've been going for quite some time and will continue my membership with them. I also hold gym memberships with different gyms but I like that there's calm here. Obviously there is noise because of the music but over all there's not a whole lot of chaos and distractions going on. Every ones there legitimately to work out, not just to hang out.

I've been a member for a couple months mainly for elliptical and some machine/free weights. The cardio machines are always in great condition, especially when compared with past experiences at 24HF.
Everything is clean and people actually use the spray/towels to clean gear - another fail at 24HF. Price is right, TV setup is great. I really love this place. Well done, PF.
